Chapter Twenty-Three

We walked in and Brett held the door for me. I smiled and looked down at the ground and said thankyou.

He smiled and replied "your welcome."

We got our shoes for bowling and Brett carried mine for me.

"Why Is he being such a gentleman?" I thought to myself.

As I put on my shoes and took off my jacket I laughed.

"Whats so funny?" Stiles asked.

"Oh, uhh Ive never bowled before.." I replied as everyone looked at me shocked.

I shrugged and Brett laughed. "What?" I looked at Brett and kinda laughed.

"Nothing, Ill teach you."

Stiles and Scott looked at eachother and smiled like they knew something, Malia and Kira did the same thing.

I Ignored it and watched Stiles go first. Strick. Strick again.

Scott went and got strick after Strick. Malia and Kira got Stricks too.

I felt uneasy and thought to myself "They're really good!"

Brett was next and same thing. Strike!

I sighed to myself. "Alright your turn"

Brett handed me a ball and smiled I took It and slowly walked up to the ally looking back and they were all looking at me either smiling or giving a thumbs up.

I took a deap breath and swung my arm back and down the ball went...Into, the, gutter.

"Its okay, try again!" Brett said.

So I did but It went In the gutter again.

Brett walked up to me "need the kiddy Alley? He said joking.

I looked at him and kinda glared. I pushed him on the stomach playfully while smiling.

He bit his lip and said "let me help you."

I looked up at him. he grabbed another ball handing it to me and went behind me and held my arms showing me how to swing. He gided my arm and helped me throw it down the alley.

I got a strick! I gasped In joy and looked at him smiling. He playfully winked at me and we sat down while Stiles and the rest went.

When we were done bowling it was almost dark. Brett looked at Scott and Stiles and they nodded. I looked up at Brett confused but he just said

"come on" and smiled. We gave our shoes back and got Into his car.

We drove out of beacon hills until we drove up into a different part of woods outside of town. We parked and got out. He walked me to a hill. I then realized it looked over the entire  beacon hills. It was amazing, all the glowing lights were tiny and it was so beautiful.

He looked at me as my jaw dropped. I looked at him and smiled and walked further up.

"Its called 'Beacon Hills point'." He told me as I walked up the hill that looked over the town.

I seen candles scattered around the ground and looked back smiling. He had a big blanket In his hands and walked toward the 'point' and I followed.

He spread the blanket out onto the ground, the candles surrounded the blanket and he layed down. He looked down at the spot beside him making it clear he wanted me to lay down.

I layed down beside him and all he did was look up at the stars. I looked at him then looked at the sky. He reached over and grabbed his phone. Music started playing. It was a slow song. I smiled and looked over at his phone.

The song was called "Us by movement."

I looked over at him smiling, "this is amazing Brett."

He didnt say anything but smile. I looked at the stars and noticed Brett was staring at me.

"Your missing out on some pretty beautiful stars." I said still looking up.

"But not as beautiful as you" Brett replied.

I looked over and let out a little smile. "Brett--"

before I could finish he slowly grabbed my face and pulled me in.

His kisses were soft and gentle and I didn't pull away this time. It was such an amazing night, how could I not? It was amazing how he set up this whole day, this whole thing!, for me. I thought to myself.

I was thinking alot but as soon as he kissed me, my head went empty.

The kiss broke slowly and he put his thumb on my lips and looked me In the eyes.

I looked down the up into his green eyes that were sparkling in the candle light.
