I picked up the phone and it was my best friend Christa. Hey you wanna go to a concert today? she said. Sure! I said . Cool Ill pick you up at 10:00 , Alright seen you then I said.I didn't know what to wear to the concert since all my closet full of black clothes so I just chose a Cotton Spandex Mini Length Dress from American Apparel. I hear honk coming from outside of course I ran downstairs from my apartment. I saw Christa in her jeep "you look really pretty'' ha Christa you know I hate getting compliments. whatever hop in Christa said. Oh I also forgot to tell ask you who gonna perform. oh its The Neighbourhood have you hear of them before? I know little of their songs like 3 or 4 I like their songs but not a big fan like you are. Well in case you know I got backstage tickets to the concert so we get to know them!! Christa was excited she was shaking and she said GOD I've been such a big fan of them you don't even know I secretly had a fan page about them cause I really felt a connection with the band and of course wanted them to notice me . We went in the concert it took like 30 minutes for us to go in cause you know "security". It was little packed in the backstage area but it smelled like weed and cigarettes i hate the smell of it. We met one of the band members i think his names was Zach but all I remembered that Christa almost fainted when she met him. He asked if my friend was okay I told him she is always like that. Then something glared my eye I saw this man with tattoos he had cigarette on his mouth . I asked Christa who was that she said oh that's Jesse Rutherford he the lead singer of the band why don't meet him. I stared to shake I said why don't you meet him Christa? She grabbed my hand tight I couldn't let go. Why are you so shy Kayla just go their and talk whats the worst he could do? She made me bump into him. Christa what have you done I said . He turned around and he a quite a cute smile on his face and he said Hi how are ya? . I was still like a toothpick it took me 20 seconds to actually say hi to him. I didn't know what to say I felt I little bit awkward i turned around and I saw Christa talking to Zach. So whats your name He said. Well my name is Kayla. Thats a pretty name did you like our performance he said. I said I liked it a lot it was a good experience . I looked in between his eyes I was so locked between his eyes I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying.
Then he said to me , Hey you wanna chill sometime he asked said huh? oh yeah I said Sure I do. Alrighhhhht he said . We exchange contacts and I finally felt Comfortable around him , but it was time to leave already .
I t was 1:00 . Oh fuck I had to got back to Christa Ill see you soon, see you later he said He gave me a quick hug he smelt like weed and roses I said bye to him I yelled HEY Ill see later Jesse James , He cracked a smile on his face
