Cp 16: Execution

I had reached the gates of kings landing and was handed a flyer "trial of traitor Eddard stark, all are welcome at market square" shit....... I can't ask ned stark anything if he's dead

I ran through the streets of kings landing as fast as I could to the market square and as soon as I got there, I saw Eddard stark being taken to the trial stage. I went and stood at the statue of balor in the center of the square with a teenage girl also standing on it.

"today we have the trial of lord Eddard stark for the crime of treason to the crown and attempted usurpation of the crown" said Cersei "how do you plead to the crimes"

"I plead guilty to all the crimes presented and swear my allegiance to Joffrey Baratheon the rightful king to seven kingdoms" he looks up in sadness but as he sees me near Arya his eyes instantly widen "SAVE HER" and "WINTERFELL YOUR ANSWERS" he mouths panicked to me as sansa stares at her father in confusion

"my mother and betrothed sansa stark have begged my father to be sent to the wall" he pauses then continues "but the minds of women are weak and treason will not be tolerated and the punishment as I rule is death" sansa starts screaming and is restrained while Cersei tries to reason with Joffrey and says "there are 50,000 northerners marching here but you would kill us with your pride" she screams

Joffrey slaps her and she staggers away from her son "any last words Eddard stark?" he says as ned stark looks directly at me and says "I'm so sorry" as a tear falls down my face. Eddard stark then rests his eyes as he puts his head down on the executioner's block.

The axe is swung, and I turn away as I hear the unmistakable chop of a sword on the block, I turn to Arya and put a hand on her mouth and grab her into my arms from the statue of balor, I walk with the crowd away from the market square. I then buy a hood at a market stand and put it on Arya saying "I'm here too help, trust me"

We then walk to the main gate as the guards there question "whose this you are carrying" they look at Arya obscured by the hood, I look at them and pull out a small purse of silver "don't worry about it" and throw it at them as they reply " have a good day lord" I then walk out of the gate and follow the kings road north

After a few hours we have arrived at an inn on the road and I motion Arya into the establishment. She and I walk in and after giving gold to the bartender we are given the most secluded table in the inn. We sit down at the table as I put down 2 waters on the table.

"drink, you need to keep up your fluids lady stark" I say to Arya

"how do you know my father" she asked confused "he saw me but looked at you, looked at you in his dying moments over his daughter, you must be important to him"

"I have never met him, but I was just recently told he dropped me as a child in dorne to protect me from dorne, your father never told my father oberyn martell who my real father was, meeting him in kings landing was my chance to find out who I am and now he is dead" I say as I run my hand through my hair

"what did he tell you at the execution?" Arya asked

"he mouthed thee words "save her" and "Winterfell your answers" I am assuming he meant to save you when he saw you in the crowd today" I say

"where are you taking me" Arya asks

"I have information that your brother is in harrenhal with his army, I am going to take you to him and then travel north to Winterfell to find the answers that he spoke of" I say

"thank you Nyrn for taking me, I think you might have saved my life" she says sincerely

I stand up and say "don't worry about it, it what is anyone would have done, come on let's go only a few hours until harrenhal"
we then continue on the kings road, going the other way we see many peasants fleeing the obvious war between the Lannister's and Robb stark obviously ravaging the land. After 2 hours ride, we make it to a great castle with a great army to besiege it,

As we were approaching it, I see three horses with a black lion banner riding towards us. They stop in front of us and the middle knight says, "what is your business in this siege?"

"I bring Arya stark, Robb stark's sister" I say to the knight. The knight then takes off his helmet and his eyes widen "Arya?" he says as Arya nods "who are you then?" he looks at me again and asks.

"I am Nyrn......Nyrn sand the lord of Gaston grey" I say

"Oliver Lannister" he shakes my hand "so Arya stark and a dornish lord" he says "come with me, Robb will want to see both of you immediately"

I ride with him to a large tent at the center of the camp, on the way there an older woman sees Arya and starts crying and following us to the large tent. We then dismount and Arya then walks through first and as I walk through, I hear a teen my age, probably Robb stark shout in happiness "Arya !!!" as he then starts crying and hugs her "I though you were dead"

They release their embrace as Arya starts crying inconsolably "what's wrong Arya?" Robb asks

"I .... saw it" she continues crying then speaks "they killed him ....... They killed father"
