Violet Isabella Stern was an ordinary high school student until the day she found out that she wasn't normal anymore.
She was able to exercise one of the most dynamic powers in the entire universe and yes, many evil spirits and conjurers are trying...
"Master, you are not in a good condition to fight them. You are bleeding and your head is severely injured. I will not let you risk your life! Please... I'm begging you. I will fight them for you. I promise to protect the crystal even if it costs my life!"
"Yue, I know that you are strong. Furthermore, you are one of my best disciples. But that doesn't mean I will allow you to sacrifice your life. I don't-", He halted and coughed blood out of his mouth, he had become weak due to the previous fight with the evil spirits. He saved me from them but I- I hadn't done anything, no it's more like I couldn't...
"I don't want to see my disciples die anymore. Now, listen to me carefully, Yue. You should leave me here. I am afraid that I can't make it till the next sunrise-"
"Please don't say something like that master! I will not let you die! You are the only one I have left! Please don't leave me behind..." I said as tears rolled down my checks. The healing spell I casted could not save him because the dark magic was too strong to be broken. I was feeling helpless. I was not ready to lose my master. He was the only family I ever had.
"Why don't you listen to me at least once, Yue? You never changed." He chuckled and continued, "I want you to protect the crystal from this moment, Yue. Don't ever let this get into their hands. Now, follow my orders. Run away from this place-"
"I will not go leaving you behind like this Master!" I interrupted.
"This is not the time to refuse my orders, Yue. You have to obey your master. Run from this place. It is not safe to be here. They will arrive at any moment now. Please Yue, promise me that you will protect the crystal." He said and extended his right hand, asking me to promise.
I held his hand and said, "I promise." and casted a spell to make a portal. I held the crystal tightly and stepped inside the portal with tears in my eyes.
"Don't worry master, I will protect this crystal even if it costs me my life."

"Greetings, my lord", A woman dressed in black clothing said to a man who was seated on a throne. Her body trembled as she bowed to him.
"Did you bring the crystal?", He asked in a calm, soothing voice with an angelic smile. He was wearing a Kimono and a mask which covered the upper half of his face.
"M- my lord, pardon us. We could- we couldn't bring the crystal. But-"
"But what? He got up and walked towards her with a gentle smile. He kept both of his palms on her face and pulled it closer to his. "You see, I do not desire to be cruel. So tell me, should I give you a second chance?" He whispered in her ear and then grabbed her neck.
"My- my lord, please believe in me. I will definitely bring you the crystal next time." She said, gasping for breath, struggling to escape from his grip.
"Remember dear, there are no second chances." He said in a sweet voice and chocked her until she died and then threw her corpse on the floor. "Clean it!" He said to the servants who were standing beside him and returned to his seat.
"I will obtain that crystal at any cost"
