The cool wind ran through her hair. She had only a moment to think before she had to jump. She turned around and looked at the man standing behind her.

"Go on. It's easier than it looks," he assured.

She was already leaning off the edge. "So young..." she whispered.

"I know. It'll be okay. It'll all be over soon."

She turned back around and closed her eyes, imaging what life would have been like if she never met the man. She opened her eyes and took the leap.

----------------------------

"Today a mother and two year old son were found dead by the park behind ARThur's. The owner, Arthur Baldwin, is being questioned by the police as we speak. There are investigators finishing processing the crime scene right now. Here comes Head Detective Drownen. Detective Drownen, is it true that they were killed by the 'Moon Murderer'?"

The news reporter paused as she waited for the detective to answer her question. After a moment of thinking, he finally replied, "No comment. But until we get confirmation, make sure to lock your house like Fort Knox. I suggest you don't travel alone either."

"What can you tell us about the deceased?"

The television turned off and the man holding the remote turned to his employee. "You made headlines, kid," he spoke with a slight tremor in his voice, "Did you clean up after yourself?"

"I can assure you that they will not be able to link me to the case," she stated calmly.

"Yes, however, everyone makes mistakes," the man replied. "You must prepare for questioning."

"I'll do what I can." She then left the room and pulled out her cellphone to call an old friend. She paused to look around, knowing there were eyes on her. She dialed his number and waited for him to pick up. "Martin, hey, how are- Aw crap, there's gum on my shoe." She pretended to look down and inspect her clean shoes.

"Is it cherry?" Martin inquired, understanding that she was being followed.

"Can't tell..Where are you anyways?" She asked.

"Grabbing coffee. I take it you'll want your usual?" He offered.

"Add something extra to surprise me. If you know my schedule, I'll be there in ten minutes."

"See you then," Martin concluded then hang up. He looked at the schedule one last time before ordering two coffees. Once he had them, he wrote the schedule inside one lid and waited. Roughly ten minutes later, she arrived and sat beside Martin. "Is your shoe clean?"

She looked around and felt somewhat at ease. "It's still sticky," She responded, "I didn't quite manage to get it off. Do you have my coffee?"

Martin handed her the coffee cup and opened his own. "I think I got them mixed up." He grabbed a spoon and tried it. She followed suit and found the schedule.

"No," she replied, "It seems like you just forgot my usual, though. What'd you do to it?"

"Isn't it 10 pinches of sugar and 4 creamers?" Martin asked, trying to know if the schedule was okay.

"Yes, but I don't think this place has my regular taste. Are you sure you didn't put salt in here?" She replied, saying that the location in the schedule seemed fishy.

"I'm pretty sure it's the right place. And you're just imagining things. Fred said that this place is the best."

She nodded, "Too bad he isn't here to have a cup with us. I'd better go, I've got a long day ahead of me." She stood up and walked towards the door.
