This poem is for those who feel like giving up
For all those who feel left out or isolated
Those who are full of self-doubts
Those who can’t express themselves
Good day my friend
It’s nice to start a day with a prayer
It’s nice to start a day with a smile
Be happy for you’re alive
You’ll see the wonderful daylight out there
And definitely, you’ll see the wonderful sunset waiting for you
You will be able to give your warmest hugs to your loved ones
You’ll learn more things in school
Share memories with your friends
But if expressing yourself seems so impossible
Or you’re losing the sight of what you’re yearning for
The acceptance you’ve been seeking for a long time
The friends you’ve been searching
The fear of rejection
The fear of judgments, of criticisms
The fear of being invisible
The fear of being termed as “nobody”
The fear of everything, of making mistakes
The fear of seeing what’s beyond the walls
Please don’t ever think of giving up
You’re fine the way you are
What people say about you doesn’t matter
Keep on living
Keep going my friend
And ultimately you’ll see the reason why God sent you here
