“Pain demands to be felt.” I remember this very special line from the movie The Fault in our Stars. Sometimes, we think on why is it that we always have to endure the pain brought by life. It’s following us just like our shadows wherever we go and in whatever we do. Bakit natin kailangang masaktan? At bakit kailangang paulit-paulit? Bakit panandalian lang ang mga ngiti at palagi na lang binabawi ng malulungkot na eksena sa ating buhay?
When was the last time that you cried? When was the last time that you smiled? Hindi lang yung basta ngiti, kundi ngiting talagang totoong masaya ka at walang tinatagong sakit na nadarama.
According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, spring is the season between winter and summer. It is the season when plants and trees begin to grow.
Spring wants you to find the pink petals scattered around you. Open your eyes and see the good and bright side of life no matter how painful it is for it is an opportunity to learn and grow.
Pain makes us stronger so that is why it demands to be felt. The moment it strikes you, indeed, it will leave you afflictive scars which can either be healed or not and it all depends on you. Your choice is all that matters.
May Spring inspire you to keep going and believe that in every rain, there’s gonna be a rainbow. I hope you guys will enjoy reading this and be enlightened by the following poems, messages and short stories that you’re about to read.
