??? POV:
"Enough both of you!"

"What?! But he started it!" I exclaimed.

"What do you mean? You're the one who had the outburst!" He replied.

"So? You're the one who said it first!" I screeched.

"And? I was speaking the truth!" He said boldly.

Oh that's it.

"You damn bastard!" I screamed running toward him, ready to throw my hardest punch.

"I said enough! Both of you detention!" My teacher exclaimed.

"WHAT?!" We both shrieked.

"I can't believe I'm stuck here with you." My rival said.

"I can say the same thing to you." I snorted.

"You both will be working on a project together!" My teacher said with a devilish smirk.

"But Miss, you know he and I can't get along!" I objected.

"Yeah, What she said!" He agreed with me.

"Well you bought this upon yourselves, and who knows? Maybe you both will finally get along!" My teacher said sarcastically.

"Dad, you can't do this." I said in a shaky tone.

"This is for the company's sake and I'm positive your little 'friend' understands." Father said eyeing him.

I don't believe this. Hell, I refuse to believe this.

"With all due respect sir, your daughter and I absolutely can't get along. We both despise each other far more from what anyone can tell." He said bluntly.

"Son? What are you saying?" My rival's father asked.

"Saying the truth." He said coldly.

I can't take this bull crap.

"Excuse me, I need to take a walk." I said with a sad tone.

As I got up I saw him, made direct eye contact with him even. He looked at me with cold, dead eyes.

I stared back but instead of cold and anger, I looked like I was about to cry.

Screw everything.

I ran off.

"She's with me buddy." He wrapped his arm around my waist.

What did he just say?

"I didn't know you moved on so fast." My ex said sadly.

Why can't I say anything?

"Of course she did, why would she want to waste her time worrying about you?" He snickered.

What the hell are you doing?!

"That doesn't mean I won't give up on her." He said plainly with determination in his eyes.

Both of our eyes widened.

I smacked him on the head.

"You're a damn idiot! Why would you do that?!"

"I was only saving your dumb butt!"

"I didn't need your saving!"

"Didn't look like it, princess."

  "I can't believe I'm grouped up with you for this dumb field trip!" My rival whined.

I stayed silent.

  "Oi, what's wrong?"

You'll never understand.

   "Hey I know we 'hate' each other and everything, but tell me what's up." He said calmly.

He attempted to move my hair out of my face to see how I was feeling.

I immediately smacked his hand out of the way.

Is she crying?

Why is he so damn nosy?

I ran off without a second thought.

Soon, I heard faint footsteps as I trapped myself in an ally way.

I continued to sob and sob.

I don't hear anything anymore.

I tried to get up but as I opened my eyes I saw him staring directly at me.

  "Tell me what's wrong, princess?"

"He's so annoying and I just can't even put up with him anymore!" I complained.

"Not my fault you dated him." He replied.

"Whatever, but how do I get out of this?" I asked him.

Wait, why am I even asking him? He's too stupid to even comprehend the situation.

"We could pretend to be dating."

My eyes widened and I looked at him.

He's dead serious.
