3rd Person POV
Thorn looked around Inkopolis square, admiring the scenery around her. Her friend, Melody-Chan, was quietly beside her, staring at the TV, which was broadcasting the news.
"Don't get cooked, stay off the hook!" the 2 waifus exclaimed. The news then ended. Thorn smiled and turned to her friend. "C'mon, let's buy some gear!" She exclaimed. With an upbeat expression on her face, she skipped over to the hat(?) shop, only to be dissapointed seconds later.
"W-what do you mean I'm not 'fresh' enough?!" Thorn yelled. The shopkeeper shook her head. "Sorry, but feel free to come back when you reach level 4."
Thorn angrily left the shop, and looked at Melody, who was sitting down drinking some kind of smoothie and playing a game on her phone. "Let's just go join a game of turf war," Thorn suggested. Melody shook her head with her eyes still glued to her phone. "You go on ahead. I'm close to beating my highscore," she replied. "...K then-" Thorn grabbed her Splattershot Jr. and walked towards Deca Tower.
