A snake in the mud
Cool and hidden
I curl and slick my scales against the dirt
I worked too hard
And like a raccoon she relied on me for garbage
Yet gave me nothing in returnI,
In my snake tailed irritation
Know these thingsBut the sky is full of clouds and the air is full of clarity
So I allow myself to breathe
Breathe and let go
Watch my misgivings slither away with the dollars I just wasted
