"Riley dinner!" My Mother's croaky voice echoes through the now almost completely empty house. We're moving somewhere different...well my younger brother Louis and younger sister Maddison are moving somewhere different while I go to college tomorrow.

I pause the movie 'twilight' I watching on Netflix, I've seen the movie that many times that I know all the words, I just love the idea of a human killing machine falling in love with the one person he wants to kill the most.

climbing out of bed I shoot myself a glance in the mirror, I've never found myself attractive no matter how much effort I put into my appearance. People tell me I look "Hot" and guys hit on me, but I feel like even models once they come back from a long days work look in the mirror and think the most negative things about themselves.

"Riley it will go cold!" Maddison's undeveloped voice calls for me.

"I'm coming!" glancing in the mirror once more I grab my brown locks and pull it into a ponytail.

"finally" My mother's voice struggles from her throat, She Smokes cigarettes so I like to say it's her fault why she sounds like that.

I sit opposite my mother.

"Do you have to go tomorrow?" Maddison questions me. She looks very nice for a Saturday night, her brown hair split into two braids that sit just over her shoulder, and she's wearing a light blue sundress.

"Yeah Riley do you have to go?" Louis agrees.

"Guys of course I have to go don't worry you can come to visit me" I reassure them, The college I will be attending is a 4 hour drive away I wanted to be further away but my ATAR score wasn't high enough for the one I applied for.

Maddison is only eight the youngest, Louis is ten and I'm seventeen turning eighteen in three weeks. My Mother is thirty-nine, she got a divorce five years ago now and she's turned all her love to alcohol and Tobacco.

We sit eating the low budget easy to make baked beans on toast. I worked at the theatres for five years helping to gather money too put towards bills and rent, My mother has never been one for working, she is just fine living off the three hundred dollars the government has to give her for us kids every fortnight, But I'm leaving tomorrow and won't be here to help them move into their new house or to help them pay rent.

The next day came quickly, too quickly. I was standing in the mirror looking at my appearance, I had decided that I would wear my best clothes a Ti-dye shirt and rainbow leggings, The shirt was long enough to cover my behind and that's how I liked it.

I pulled my long brown hair into a messy bun before Grabbing the suitcases off the bed and I was ready to start my new life.

I inhale deeply before leaving the room.

"I'm gonna miss you Riley" Maddison wraps her small arms around my waist tightly.

"I'll see you after my birthday silly" which I was My birthday is on a Thursday, so she and Louis can stay with me for the weekend it's Only in three weeks.

I hug Louis and my mother before leaving. I climb into my hand-me-down car to begin my four hour drive.

Once I arrive at campus it's nothing like I expected. Hundreds of young adults and teenagers scattered across the place. The main building is Tall brick building shaped into what looks like a castle. I see People hugging what I assume are their parents goodbye. I park my old 1980 Ford Thunderbird car into the only spot I can see available, It's quite a walk to the campus main building and I wish I could find someone to complain too about walking that far, But I'm alone and have to suck it up and carry my heavy bags to my dorm which I have yet to find.

Halfway to the building and I already feel tired, I've never been one for exercise When I had to play sport in high school I would always make some kind excuse to sit out and not participate.

"Hey, would you like some help?" A Boy with blonde hair and a full teeth smile questions me, I didn't even know he was there until he spoke. He is so much more taller then me.

"No thank you, I'm alright" I reply sweetly. Pussy my subconscious sneaks in.

"Don't be silly Here let me take this one" leaning down he takes the one from my hand and swings it over his shoulder like it's a feather.

I continue walking and the blonde boy follows closely next to me.

"I'm Toby by the way. Toby wild" He introduces himself.

"Riley. Riley miller"

"Riley? That's a nice name" I look up at the blonde boy who's eyes stay focused in front of him as we walked. He's nice.

We walk and talk about majors and life here I've learned he's a sophomore taking chemistry and physics classes, Once we reach my dorm room which is G16 he placed my bag down at my feet, we exchanged numbers and he left.

I stick my key into the door and unlock it, Once I open the door I wasn't alone anymore, a girl with bright blonde hair, sun kissed skin wearing half a shirt that wrapped tightly around her prefect body and ripped blue skinny jeans that sat just below her pierced belly button, And boy with wavy brown hair wearing all black clothes but I couldn't see his face as it was buried into the blondes neck.

I enter the room closing the door behind me hard making my presence noticeable, I drop my bags down next to the opposite bed that didn't have two horny young adults on it.

Once they noticed my arrival it apparently didn't stop them from groping each other.

"Hello" I say loudly enough to get their attention, Once I broke them away from their...whatever that was The blonde girl climbed off from his lap and smiled at me.

"You must be Riley. I'm Britney" she gave me the fakest smile ever.

"Hi" I sit down onto the bed and notice the boy staring at me I give him a welcoming smile but he doesn't return one, Instead he says.

"It looks like a unicorn shat all over you" my jaw drops from his rude comment about my clothes.

"Dylan. Don't be mean" Britney defended me, but a real smile was plastered on her face.

"At least" I search for a comeback. What am I supposed to say to that?

"At least what?" He stood from the bed and towered over me his hair resting on his forehead peacefully. He is really attractive and I'm almost jealous about the fact that Britney who I've known for two minuets was straddling him a minute ago.

He was so incredibly intimidating. My facial features felt completely frozen as his dark blue eyes threatened mine.

"That's what I thought" he stepped away from me and left the room without another word.

"Who was that?" I struggle to ask.

"Dylan Anderson" she nods at me like she knows what I'm feeling right now.

"He's a bully" I tell her Which he is, he just made the most unbelievable comment about my clothes.

Instead of answering me she just laughs and agrees with me.

I don't like him.
