The Beginning of the End

Part 16-The Fall Part 2

Bree turned to Trey and whispered, "I need to go find my parents. They are up there somewhere."

"Then I'll go with you." said Trey.

"Nope. Not risking someone else I love." Bree muttered trying not to say it loudly when Trey gulped nodding.

"Sword guy, can you come with me?" Bree asked. "I need to find my parents."

Diego rolled his eyes walking back over to Bree saying, "Not a good idea, but fine. Just stay close and move quick." Diego quickly walked off with Bree behind him just as Summer went over to Zarie, taking Cassie into her arms letting Zarie have a break, "Hopefully Jeff and the others get back soon. We need to get all these kids to safety."

Eve opened the door to her hotel room calling out, "Mom, are in here?!" Maya looked around before she heard some noise from the bathroom.

Eve opened the bathroom door, and turned on the light seeing a walker standing right there lunging for her making Eve fall back to the ground. Maya quickly kicked it off, shooting it in the head when Eve noticed who it was. It was her mother.

"No no no no!" Eve said tears forming in her eyes right as Maya lifted her to her feet, "Kid we need to go, the others are probably waiting for us."

Terrell was contemplating if he should join Bradley or shoot him now when a few walkers started to pour into the room. Terrell lifted his gun killing a few while more came in. Bradley raised his gun as well helping the bigger guy out.

"Fighting with me is a good sign!" Bradley exclaimed.

"There's too many, we need to move!" shouted Terrell.

Just then a few more gunshots started to go off with Dean and Jeff on the other end of the sounds. "Terrell, let's move," Dean called over to him from another doorway into the penthouse suite.

Jeff aimed his gun at Bradley while Terrell made his way over to Dean's door when Terrell stated, "I cannot leave him, that's not who I am as a person. He might not be a good person, but I am." Bradley made his way over to the three with a smirk on his face leaving the penthouse suite.

Bree and Diego walked side by side through the hallways of the large hotels when Bree turned to him saying, "It's funny because the two guys we like used to get on back at the mall, or at least I'm pretty sure they did."

Diego glared at Bree not saying anything ignoring her completely as they walked through a door seeing a couple of walkers when Bree pointed at one.

"Mom...my mom...she's one of them." Bree uttered before Diego saw Gracelyn as a walker. Bree turned quickly trying to get away from seeing that when she walked into somebody and something sharp went inside of her stomach. "Agh..." Bree barely uttered while Opal pulled out the knife she was holding which was bloody from Bree.

Diego's mouth hung open as he swung his sword, slicing Opal's throat open and kneeling down just as some walkers headed his way.

"Should've told you no." Diego said before stabbing Bree in the head making sure she wouldn't turn into one of those things.

He hurried back to the others leaving Bree's dead body next to Opal's. Gracelyn wandered around as a walker when another walker walked by. It was Jesse. They are together as the dead.

When Diego came back into the garage with a sorrow look on his face, Trey was the first one to see him.
