Kaname's POV.

As I walked into class, I noticed that everyone was silent. I looked around and my eyes stopped on a girl who was sitting on Mr. Yagari's desk, talking to him and laughing. She wasn't a vampire, that much I could tell, but she was wearing the night class uniform. She was barefoot and had a chain wrapped around her hand. Her eyes were a color similar to a molten gold with silver specks. Her brown hair that covered one of her eyes was dyed purple at the ends. When she looked at me, she smiled and I had to hold in a gasp. The last thing that caught my attention, and held it, was the hair piece she had on. It was a black headband... That had cat ears on the top...
