"Come on man, stick with us," Kayden told. He smiled as he dragged me towards the rest of our classmates.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have Hide Eric Mikhail!!!" Jesskah announced. Every one of my classmates started cheering and applauding. I was clearly dumbfounded and I couldn't make up the situation.
"Well, well, looks like we have someone in the spotlight. I'm quite jealous," Garren suddenly shows up also clapping his hands.
"Mind if I share the stage with you? It is my party after all," Garren told arrogantly. He flips his fringes with his hands dramatically.
"Umm..." I was speechless.
"Tell us Hide, if someone would force you to do something you wouldn't like doing, what will you do?" Reol asked.
"Well... I would definitely decline," I replied.
"Oooooooh..." Everyone amused.
"But what if that person actually threatened you?" Reol followed up another question.
"I would still decline. Because I have every right to do so," I replied once again.
"Why?" Reol asked for the third time.
"It's the most logical thing to do, I'll definitely make sure nobody makes me," I told.
"Ohhhhh!" Everyone cheered again amused.
"Is there anything wrong?" I asked.
"You know Hide, you're a bit too serious. Loosen up a bit," Jesskah attempted to assure.
"Yeah, won't you beat someone at his own game with a fist fight?" Garren asked.
"Wouldn't that be bad?" I asked.
"Not all people can fight Garren," Marui protested.
"I was expecting something a bit more... Ambitious... It doesn't have to be real," Reol said.
"Like throwing someone into a volcano or drowning him in a sea full of sharks?" Allen proposed.
"Hah! Something like that!" Reol agreed.
"It's okay, you're still cool man," Kayden told.
"You don't think I'm weird?" I asked.
"We thought you didn't want to hang out with us, you only talk to Arum," Jesskah told.
"Yeah, Arum is a cool popular guy and all. So I thought you aren't really that bad if he's your best friend," Garren said.
"See Hide? Not everyone thinks of you the way you think they would," Schneider mentioned.
"Oh, I don't really know what to say," I replied. I guess I really can mingle with others, I overestimated people too much. Maybe I shouldn't do that anymore, Arum probably put a lot of faith in me.
"We'll take that as a thank you," Reol said reassuringly. Garren then raised his bottle of beer.
"Cheers!" Garren exclaimed.
"Cheers!" Everyone else followed including I did. I was able to blend with my classmates somehow, I'm still very awkward about the idea, but I am a little happy with no other strings attached.
Moments later we just socialized and talked about a lot of random things. Even though I just sit throughout and listened to most of the conversations, I was occasionally asked for valuable opinions from time to time which made me feel welcomed. I couldn't relate to most of it, but they still manage to make me talk.
Moments later everyone who is part of our class gathered in the living room. On the center of the table is a bottle, and we all sat on the floor forming a circle. Sitting beside me is Arum, he reeks a bit of alcohol and is clearly intoxicated but conscious. Raihen is on the opposite side. He waved and smiled at me. There were other people all around us spectate.
"Alright, everyone! We're all going to play spin the bottle! We'll have Marui go over the rules" Garren announced.
"The rules are simple! This is a game of truth or dare! Whoever gets pointed at will have to choose, 'truth' or 'dare'," Marui explained. Afterward, the person is declared out so everyone gets to have a turn! Are we all clear?" Marui asked. Everyone else cheered in response.
"Do I really have to be part of this?" I complained.
"Pft, why not? Let's enjoy it together!" Arum then roughly placed his right arm around my shoulder. I took a deep breath and tried to think. If I take a look at the perspectives, it would be best if I picked truth if the bottle points towards me.
"I'll spin the bottle," Schneider volunteered.
"Perfect, " Garren said.
"First round!" Without further ado, Schneider spun the bottle. The bottle turned rapidly but gradually slowed down then pointed towards Kayden.
"Truth or dare?" Schneider asked.
"Dare!" Kayden replied excitedly.
"Alright, for starters, I'll give the dare. Why don't you put on a show and dance for us?" Schneider snickered.
"Easy said and done!" Kayden confidently moves towards the center. The DJ turns up the music and Kayden begun to do a breakdance as everyone clapped to the beat. He pulled up his shirt to show his abdominals which made everyone cheer harder as he swayed. Everyone applauded from his wild display of energy.
"Next one!" Schneider immediately gave another spin to the bottle. This time, it landed on Allen.
"Truth!" Allen immediately responded.
"Who wants to ask the question?" Schneider asked.
"I'll do it!" Garren volunteered. "So tell me. What is your guilty pleasure?"
"Don't judge, but I actually make ice cream rape porn with the action figures I had when I was a kid," Allen shyly replied.
"Wait, that was yours?!" Kayden asked.
"You've actually seen it?" Allen asked.
"Oh wow, you two are weird," Garren said creeped out.
"I'm now actually curious about it," Raihen intrigued.
The game went on and on for a while as one player after another is declared out. It went by smoothly despite some of it becoming way too real, but I guess it's the essence of the game. The bottle spun once more rapidly, this time it took quite a while to stop. As it slowed down we wondered where it will land, until it pointed towards Arum.
"About time!" Arum excitedly cheered followed by a hiccup. I should really bring him home as soon as possible, last time he was drunk, he almost woke up the neighbors while acting like a crazy rockstar.
"Dare!" He declared.
"I have the perfect idea! Why don't you kiss someone?" Jesskah recommended.
"Pft... Is that all?" Arum sarcastically replied. All of a sudden, Arum stands up forcefully and pulls me by the hand. As I almost collapsed forward, he catches my back with his other arm leaving me in a backward bent position. He quickly leaned forward and our lips touched. I think my brain cells stopped working before I knew what just happened.
We kissed.
