"Sorry," He apologized after realizing he spaced out. He immediately looked away embarrassed, Arum then returns to the wardrobe to continue picking clothes.

"Here, wear this," He tosses a dark blue long-sleeved polo shirt and my plaid checkered short pants.

"Oh, alright,"

"Hurry up and get changed, I want to see how you look," Arum said. He immediately stripped his shirt off exposing his toned body as he chooses what to wear from the wardrobe. I myself started to get change as well, after a while, we both finished.

"You look great!" Arum complimented. "But let's do it like this," He comes closer to fold the sleeves up several to the length of my elbow.

"Handsome," He grinned and crossed his arms impressed.

"You look good too," I complimented. Arum wore a similar matching outfit like mine. Plaid shorts with an unbuttoned checkered red polo with a plain white shirt on the inside.

"Thanks!"

After all the preparations we decided to head to Raihen's place ourselves to pick him up. The skies are dim and continue to grow darker, it was clear of clouds yet you can see a few stars and the waning crescent moon. Upon arrival at Raihen's place which was not too far away from ours, we gave a ring on his doorbell. His place looked no different from ours since he was also living in an apartment.

"We're here!" Arum called out. For a few seconds we waited and the door soon opened.

"You're here!" Raihen tackles us both with a tight yet not so forceful hug. I still can't get used to his touchiness.

"Lookin' good Raihen," Arum complimented. He casually wore a sleeveless a fitting collared shirt which emphasized his good muscles paired with jeans and red rubber shoes.

"You two look awesome, especially you Hide," Raihen winked.

"Uhm, thanks," I replied awkwardly.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Raihen excitedly gestured pointing his fist upwards.

With just a few blocks away we walked a measurable amount of distance to the Lakeside. Apart from the obvious big white house from the distance, you can already hear the loud bass music. A few cars and motorcycles parked on both sides, and a few people talking outside with drinks in their hand.

I would leave if I could but there's not much I can do, I'll probably be fine if I stick close to Arum and Raihen. Just by the entrance, we can see Garren talking to other fellow jocks who are his teammates from the football team.

"You guys made it!" Garren welcomed arms wide.

"Thanks for having us!" Arum gratified.

"Holy shit man, your house is huge," Raihen marveled looking around him.

"Everyone inside is waiting for you, go ahead and have fun!" Garren gestured as he tapped my shoulder.

"Oh, uhm thank you," I replied. He offered fist bump which made me hesitate a little, but I did so anyway. I'm not too used to other people being overly friendly to me, it makes me think I probably have to overlook my impressions again because I don't think he was pretending to be nice. I followed Arum and Raihen as they entered the house.

People. Lots of people. There are lots of people everywhere. I feel like I'm familiar with most of them due to being keen and observant. I feel like everyone is here. Popular school faces, cheerleaders, the pep squad, the organizer of the homecoming committee, talented people. I was immediately uncomfortable with the crowd but I tried to keep my cool regardless.
