- Emalynne's POV -

- APARTMENT, Sunday, 2:30 PM -

Here we are.

When we stopped, father asks the driver to help him carry our things, and comes out of the car.

I followed him outside, carrying my bag containing my things.

I take a glance at our apartment, which intimidates me by its looks.

Sure, it looks nice, but I feel scared.

It wasn't the same like before at my hometown.

Approaching the back of the truck, I pick up some of the boxes and place it inside our room.

We have plenty of stuff after all.

This is going to take a while.

- 4:20 PM -

When we finally finished our work, I plopped myself on the couch by the television.

My family's apartment is pretty small after all, but it's just enough to fit us all.

Mother is at abroad right now, working to provide for us.

We moved because father got a job far from home.

It can't be helped.

He also enrolled me to a nearby school there.

Great, a new student.

After a while, I go upstairs and into my room.

Opening the door, I was surprised at the appearance at my room.

It's very neat and convenient.

There was a desk and a chair, a closet, and a bed.

I felt like I wasn't home at all.

I couldn't get over it.

Going back downstairs, I pick up some of my things and brought it upstairs.

I rustle through the box and found my diary, still looking pretty new.

My best friend bought me this.

It was a diary that has a beautiful background of a galaxy and a silhouette of a forest.

I meekly open it and see some of my drawings and entries.

I love thinking about supernatural beings.

They interest me.

I decided to write an entry on my diary.

'Entry #24

Today, I moved to a new apartment with my father.

It was a long time when I lived back in my hometown.

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to it.

I miss my family, my friends, and my schoolmates.

I remember Ayla giving me this very diary.

The beautiful cover reminds me of our friendship.

A friendship that is as infinite as the galaxy.

I promise that I will still talk to her, but not always.

She was the person I could never forget in my life.

The ride to the new apartment made me tired.
