These are the journal entries from one of our patients, Gabi James. She had been with us for over a year with seemingly no mental progress made, when a janitor while cleaning out her room found a few notes in her waste basket. A few notes that, once unscrambled, offered a few clues as to what happened to her that night. Then, the mental health board made a decision, one that went against a few of our moral codes, but what were we to do? We gave her a journal, and every night, we read it, and try to figure out what could possibly have happened to drive this troubled young woman to insanity. This is that journal.
