Life

At dawn the birds wake,

Chirping around the drying lake,

Two young eyes meet,

In love but though, too nervous to greet,

A storm blows by,

Providing no change of a goodbye,

The sky cries,

As the love dies,

A rose grows,

In a field with crows,

As we learn how to cry,

We learn how to die,

Regret is a sickness,

Full of darkness and thickness,

Brave as a bear,

Shedding no tear,

Surviving is one,

But living is like the sun,

Warm, honest and fine,

Though not without a thorny vine.

As you may see this poem is a little darker than the first one, as most of my poetry is. It is also like the first one an old one. I will be putting up new works when I find the inspiration, but for now, your stuck with what I wrote last year :)
