Mallory nodded, immediately standing up before following Damon to the kitchen, which he immediately poured himself and Mallory a drink, "Way to get her hopes up, Stef," Mallory spoke up in a sarcastic tone, "You're talking about something that hasn't been done in the history of vampirism. Trust me, if anyone would know about a cure, it would be me."

"You know what, neither of you were there the day Elena looked me in the eye and told me she absolutely never wanted this." Stefan pointed out to the duo, who turned to face him.

Mallory rolled her eyes, downing her entire glass of bourbon in one gulp before Damon decided to speak up, "Then you shouldn't have let her die." He reminded his younger brother with an attitude.

"I never meant for her to die. She asked me to help Matt first and I did," Stefan replied with an annoyed.

"And now the world has one more quarterback. Bravo, brother." Damon sarcastically remarked as he walked over to stand face to face with Damon.

"I made a choice that I will regret for the rest of my life. Now let me try to fix it." Stefan snapped at Damon before turning, Damon downing his second drink as he watched his brother flee the scene.

"Okay, I get Elena is top priority right now, but how does no one want to help me figure out the reason I'm still alive after Klaus died?" Mallory asked Damon, who simply shrugged as he poured himself another drink, "Fine, I'll deal with this myself."

Mallory was walking down the street, searching for Caroline. She wasn't answering the phone, which immediately concerned the female vampire.

Suddenly, feeling someone following her, Mallory froze in place, glancing around in concern. Mallory quickly turned the corner, running into a gap between two buildings, only to suddenly find two deputies standing in front of her, pointing their guns at her chest.

"What seems to be the problem, officers?" Mallory questioned, a large, yet fake, smile on her face.

At vampire speed, Mallory turned on her heel, about to run away. Before she could do, she was shot four times with wooden bullets, one just grazing her heart.

Mallory gasped in pain, staring down at her heart in shock. Just then, two deputies grabbed her by the arm while another stepped forward, stabbing her in the neck with a syringe of vervain. She gasped out, using one hand to roughly push him back since the syringe wasn't enough to stop her.

Before she could react, they stabbed her with two more, which immediately caused her to knock out.

Mallory woke up with a groan, only to find herself tied down with vervain ropes in the back of a van. Mallory began to panic, roughly tugging at the ropes to get out, "Vervain ropes," Caroline informed Mallory, who sighed in defeat as she turned to the blonde.

Mallory turned her head, only to see that she was sitting across from Rebekah, "You should be dead!" Rebekah said in disbelief, her eyes wide in disbelief, "How are you alive?"

Suddenly, the wheels of the van started to screech and soon after, the van fipped, causing Mallory, Caroline, and Rebekah to go flying even while still being tied down.

The van fell onto its side, causing the three girls to groan in pain, "What the hell happened?" Rebekah asked the duo in shock.

Just then, Mallory turned her head to find Tyler breaking off the back door of the van before getting in to rescue Mallory.

"Tyler?" Mallory gasped, her eyes wide in shock.

"I guess I'm harder to kill than you think," He remarked, ripping off the vervain ropes tying her down before surprisingly doing the same for Caroline, clearly for Mallory's sake.
