Desmond Sycamore x Reader (Won't you be my new Assistant?)

"Um well I think I going to get some rest." you said as you stand up "Alright!" he replies, you turn to say "Good night, Sycamore!" "Good night, (Y/n). Sweet dreams!" you hear him answer. You stop in front of your tent and answer back "Sweet dreams to you too!" with a faint blush and a soft smile.

When you all were back on the Bostonius after finding the first egg in Phong Gi...

You walk into the main room to hear. "Hmm, where did I put my spectacles?" you see him scratching the back of his head looking puzzled. 

"Oh, here I'll help you look." you said and immediately start looking around. You checked the chair, then over and under the table, then dashed quickly down the hall to catch a glimpse of a little red. You fully turn to see them on the bathroom counter, beside the sink. "Found them!" you exclaimed then went back to where he was. "They were on the bathroom counter, you probably forgot them when you washed your face or something." "Right." You walked over to him. "And - there you are!" you said as you put his glasses on him now face to face. "Oh! Um, *Ahem* t-thank you!" he answered "You're welcome! It really wasn't any trouble." you said back with a cheery smile. Causing a light rosy tint on his cheeks.

The Bostonius finally arrived in San Grio and you found out that the egg or in this case Popono would be harder to find then you all first expected. As your group walked around the town, a lot of the shop keepers were presenting their trinkets to everyone. Getting slightly ahead of the group were you and Desmond when...

"Excuse me, don't you want to buy this lovely Popono." One of the shopkeepers chanted towards you showing you a reddish gift shop egg. "No, but thank you!" you replied with a kind smile and light chuckle, slightly raising your hands up. "How about you sir! You should by it for your lovely companion right here!" he said now trying to push the offer onto Desmond as he was referring to you. He quickly glanced over at you. "Really I'm fine-" you began.

"No, he's right!" he answered back with a light smirk. "Here you are my good man!" he said, handing the shopkeeper the amount due. "Thank you sir, I hope you both have a pleasant time in San Grio!" Desmond then walked over to hand it to you. 

"Thank you but you really didn't have to." he looked at you with a charming smile and said "No, no I wanted to and keep it as a souvenir to remember our adventure here." then he began to walk, you were left there a bit stunned when he calls to you with a chuckle "Come along, now we don't want to be too far behind the others." you quickened your pace and caught up with him after putting the gift in your bag.

Once you finish up finding the egg in San Grio you went to your next destination, a dessert town named Torrido. You found out that the egg was on the collar of a large wolf named Old Red. After searching for him through the town despite all the locals tell you to stay away. You all found him as he entered a cave outside of the town. He seemed more alright with you all and Luke talked to him.

"He wants to find the girl who helped him and give her back, her pendant before he passes on." Luke translated. "Aw, aren't you just a big softy yes you are, of course we'll help!" you said as you went over to pet Old Red. You scratched behind his ears causing him to calm a bit whilst leaning into the scratches. See you do so encouraged even Sycamore to go up and give him some pets as well, as his eyes lighting up with pure joy like a child reacting to a cute puppy.
