Henry Ledore x Reader (Welcome to Monte d'Or)

Introduction:  This takes place after the events of Miracle Mask. Where you visit Monte d'Or with Professor Layton and Luke

You were going to visit Monte D'Or for the first time with Hershel and Luke. Who told you many stories of their friends there and adventures. You were excited to final meet them in person. 

Once you final reach your destination. All of you stepped out of the car to be welcomed by a friendly crowd of people who were setting up for what seemed to be a celebration. Hershel then inquired to one of the towns people "Excuse me, but what are with the decorations, if I may ask?", "Oh haven't you hear it is the for the Festival de Lumière." the man answered with a smile. "Thank you!" Hershel later replied as the man walked off.

You all continued your strolled through the wonderful city, as you looked upon it with wide eyes filled with wonder. "It is truly amazing." you said in almost a whisper. Hershel heard and chuckle "I would say it is." and Luke was just as entranced as you at all the decorations being put up. "Professor could we go on the carousel later? Please!" He begged. "Alright, after we go to town hall." Hershel said with a smile causing Luke to jump with joy.

As you all arrived in front of Town Hall Randall jumped out of no where surprising Hershel. "Hershel, Luke how have you been?" he asked, "We are quite well, Randall. How are you." Hershel said happy to see his old friend so happy. "And this must be (Y/n) it's nice to final meet you!" he said cheerfully whist simultaneous shaking your hand. "It is very nice to meet you too!" you said as you return the smile. "Oh, what are we standing around for come inside Angela and Henry are just thrilled that you've excepted to come. You know their is a Festival later on today." Randall continued as he escorted you all inside the beautiful building, he even gave a brief tour whilst you all walked to the main office where Angela was sitting. She then stood up seeing you all and went up to you all. "Oh Hershel, Luke and you are (Y/n) I presume it is wonderful to meeting you we've heard a lot about you." She said excitedly "Just as I said dear~" Randall added when coming near Angela then putting an arm around her. Randall and Angela invited you all to sit down and talked for the time being when Henry arrived with some tea. You all stood up, as he then put the tea on the table to welcome all of you. "Hershel, I'm glad you could make it! And Luke, how have you been how was your trip also I've got a gift for you I'll give in a moment. And-" he gasped when his eyes settled on you. He had a bit of a hint of blush on his cheeks then quickly snapped out of his daze "W-welcome to Monte D'or! (Y/n) if I'm correct, I'm Henry Ledore, I am delighted to meet you." as he offered you a hand to shake with both of his hands kindly. He then offered everyone their tea, when he arrived to you "How do you like your tea?", "Oh, (this many sugars) with(out) Milk." then hands it to you with a sweet smile that makes you blush a bit.

After you all had your tea, they then took you on a tour around the city to see all of their amazing sights which Henry could help but let a small smile seeing you beam about how wonderful it is. "So (Y/n), what do you think of Monte d'Or." Henry asked, "It's absolutely magnificent!" you answered in awe "Thank you! I find that quite a complement coming from you, (Y/n)." with a light smile. By the near end of the tour everyone including Luke could see Henry's quick fondness and admiration of you, from the fond glances he gives you to sweet smiles he can't help but have. Especially after he told you a joke to which made you laugh, he just could wipe the smile off from the whole trip. Even you couldn't help but smile when ever he talked, he had such a kind and sweet attitude about him though people may not see it at first but was undoubtedly there once you get to know him. They knew you two had to be together.

Once the tour was done and you all made it back by the time the festival was starting Randall's eyes glimmered with an idea. He then brought everyone except you two into a circle and whispered his idea. 

Hershel, Luke and you then went to the hotel to be in your best clothes. After you were done you were about to go out the door when you saw a bouquet of bright yellow roses with red tips and Amaryllis. There was also a note 'With a fond welcoming from Monte d'Or' - Sincerely Henry Ledore. You pick them up with a grin from ear to ear and put them in a vase. 'that was very sweet of him' you thought. You went to knock on Hershel and Luke's door, but there was no answer. 'Perhaps they've already went down with out me'. You went down the stairs of the hotel unbeknown of Hershel and Randall hiding behind a plant. "Randall it was very rude of us not to walk with her-", "But Hershel, it was what we had to do." they whispered. When they saw you coming down Randall whispered 'shh!'. You looked around to find no one and sat for a bit when you felt a light tap on your shoulder. You turn to see Henry with a bright blush as well as a kind smile on him. "Oh Henry, it's nice to see you! Do you know where the others are they said we would all meet here to go to the festival together."  you said seeing him "They told me as well and I am sorry to say, I haven't the slightest clue." he responded. You then remember "Oh yes, by the way thank you so much for the flowers.", "Your very welcome! I'm glad you liked them." he reply. In the background Randall almost yelled while popping out of the plant about "HE EVEN GOT HER FLOWERS TOO THATS WONDER-" Hershel pulled him down saying 'Shhhhhh!!!". You both turn almost hearing it but forgot about it. "W-would you like to go to the festival with me." he asked a bit nervously. "I would love to!" he then offers you his arm which you except and link arms with. 

You walked along the streets with lanterns shining brightly in the night sky. "I didn't get to say it, but you look lovely this evening~" he said kindly to you, "Oh, well thank you! And you look simple charming~" which caused him to look at the ground with a shy smile and blush now flourishing on his cheeks. He then muttered a "Thank you!" Luke and Angela were waiting to ride the carousel upon seeing you both waving to flag you over when Randall comes out of no where hiding them when you and Henry turned to see no one their. "Randall, Darling what is the big idea." Angela asks. Hershel trailed behind wonder where Randall gets the energy for this. "I want them to be alone after all it is her first trip here and I think they would be happy together." Randall answers. "Professor, can we go on the carousel now?" he asked when the ride final halted "Yes, of course Luke. Angela please do keep an eye on Randall." Hershel said.

You and Henry walked along where he stopped to get you both (your favorite festival food) to which you smiled and thanked him, saw the parade march along the road, which during that time you shivered and he offered you his coat which you said 'I couldn't possibly, then you would be cold!", "Non-sense, I'm quite fine!" then hands you his coat "Thank you, that was very sweet of you~", "Think nothing of it." He answered with a charming smile which made you blush. You both passed by people laughing and cheering about the festival, a few of them even thanked him for which he replied 'There is no need for thanks, I was happy to do it.' with a smile. He was truly astonishing to you, how kind and level-head he was to everyone. Then you both came upon the town square where everyone was dancing "Would you care to dance?" he asked which you agreed. You both were having the most fun and laughing to your hearts content.

Final you found the rest of the group when Randall had his back turned to not push anyone out of the way "There you all are!" you both said simultaneously then turning to each other to laughed together. You both were still linking arms. Making Randall give a cheeky grin. "I see you two had a fun time." he said "Yes we did!" you answered with Henry nodding happily. "Well, we are glad to hear that." Randall added with a chuckle.

After going around the festival one last time with the group. Henry escorted back to your room in the hotel. "Thank you for the wonderful evening and to be honest I think it was the best I've ever had." you shyly lean up to kiss his cheek causing his cheeks to turn rosy red and his eyes to widen then to melt back into a smile "It was my honor (Y/n)~" looking at you fondly holding your hand with both of his. He then lets go to let you get some rest and wishes you a good night as you do the same. Once you closed the door you check in the mirror to see a rosy glow on your cheeks too smiling at the thought of him. He on the other side of the door put a hand on the cheek you kissed, to smile fondly then leave with a skip.
