It was said that he had a daughter named Nammu, his only daughter. Together, they watched at the new forms of lives that inhabited the newly created world.
The different animals and plants filled the world with color, Nammu loved all in that world, especially the humans. She felt that they were like her siblings.
But when Goorialla began to love more the humans than his own daughter, she was filled hate and jealousy.
The new emotions that she felt became her in a different person. Specifically in an ugly version of her. She transformed in a snake with colorful scales and came down to the mortal world from the heaven.
The great Rainbow Serpent stirred and set off in a personal quest to find the humans, where she stopped, made big mountains and her huge body made deep roads where lakes was created . She traveled north for many days, her tracks made the creeks and rivers as he journeyed, but also destruction and disasters was summoned.
At the meeting place of the two rivers, she stopped to listen to the wind but only heard voices speaking strange languages.
"They are here" she said.
Nammu appeared before the primitive humans with her divine presence. Instantly human's ancestors fell over the floor for respect and worship signal. However, her creepy smile wasn't seen for anyone in the place.
While she pretend showed the men how to dress properly and taught them to dance, a big storm was gathering around her, so all people tried to build shelters but the rain got heavier and the people went back to Nammu and called out her saying that the rain was heavy.
"Please save our kids, the tempest is close" they begged.
She said: "All right come in now."
The human's kids ran inside Nammu's mouth and she swallowed them.
After that, she decided to travel north to the Grand River, where the only great natural mountain in the land was, without tell nothing to anyone. Next morning the people found that the boys were gone; they saw the tracks and knew that she had cheated them.
The crying of people resounded throughout the world. The people's tears made a new river in the great mark created by the step of Nammu's big body. She hurt deeply the beings that one day she loved like her siblings.
Goorialla was angry and she knew. While the rain was still falling Nammu ran in the same road as the Grand River, crossing the only great natural mountain, place where she tried to hide. But Goorialla threw lightning powerful burned her colorful scales, hurting her.
With that act, the rain stopped and the ashes of scales created a colorful rainbow; her big body disappeared leaving a "Grand canyon".
She hid in the depths of the newly formed canyon and decided to rest there while falling asleep for centuries.
Goorialla sent the spirits of primitive humans that she betrayed to take care of her and avoid her awakening for eternity.
The young boy, who grew up until be adult, wanted to meet her. The young man expected to hear the story from her mouth.
He picked up his weapons and left north following the direction of the river.
He took more than three days on foot to get to entry of valley and kept walking without stop. The more time passed, great stone walls began to surround him.
