From arcades to home consoles, gaming has always been there for the current generations. It's helped fellow nerds to meet and connect with each other. Helped relationships to develop.
There were no negatives to gaming except the odd obsessed teenager who never left their room or the weird guy who thinks game characters were real. But, if you ignored them, gaming was faultless.
Computer games have taken the world by storm ever since the very first game was released in 1958. Kids, teenagers, adults who are just big kids have been addicted to the form of entertainment.
The amount of development that technology has made is extremely impressive and thanks to gaming, people have connected with each other around the world, whether that's at gaming conventions or simply online with a headset.
Gaming isn't just for loner teenagers in their bedrooms who keep their curtains closed 24/7 but it is also for families or imaginative humans.
Those who just want to be lost in a world of wonder and delight.
Who just desperately want to escape from reality.
Who wishes that those perfect worlds existed.
I was one of those humans...
