"What weapons do they have their." I asked.

"A couple airplanes, many tanks and enough soliders to take down us." He said.

"But how many?" I asked.

"The soilder who found the base didn't get enough information or counted really. So we don't know exactly. But we can guess their has to be 1,500 soliders. Plus Lady Ginger being their." He said.

"Who is Lady Ginger?" I asked as he grabbed a photo from a file.

He gave me the file.

"A Hydra Co-Founder and she works for Red Skull." He said as I take out a photo of her children.

"She has children?" I ask as he nods.

"Not with her, we think their innocent but we can't trust them until we find them wherever they are." He said as I nodded.

"Yes Sir. I'll rally the troops." I said.

"Good luck General Kit. I pray I will see you again." He said.

"Me too General Pomer. Me too." He said.

0500 Hours...

"Alright everyone get ready. And get your gear. We all know the plan. And if somebody gets lost or dies it was an honor serving you men." I said as all saluted and I saluted back.

I get in a Jeep along with some other soldiers and Conner.

As we were headed to the base I was looking at the map of the plan. Some people are looking at pictures of their family's, friends, ladies.

I will always feel bad when my soliders have to be put through the thought of if they'll live or die. But we're in the army what do we expect.

About a mile out I get out of the tank and put on my helmet and head out with some soliders.

I wave to Conner as I pass by in the woods. I remember all those times as a kid my dad would tell me about his life in South Carolina. And how he got to Brooklyn.

Walking through the forest reminds me of those stories.

As we approach it I hold my hand up. Until the firing starts.

I sneak around pass the Hydra soliders and head inside. Luckily this base as far as I know has no soliders captive or at least alive that we don't know about.

The men split up from me as I head into a room. I see a map full of some Hydra plans and bases around the area.

They didn't plan to ambush us. They planned for us to come. I start running out and then hide when I heard footstep.

I got my gun out ready to shoot. As I almost shoot the person or Soldier. I see it's Conner.

"What are you doing here Conner?" I ask him as he takes a breath and I bring him in the room and close the door again.

"Im here one to save you. And two they have killed most of the men. And their planning something else." He said.

"I know. You need to get out of here." I told him.

"Im not leaving you." He said as tears fell from my eyes.

"You need to go. They will kill you. I will be fine. I just need you to trust me. I will get out of here." I said as I kissed him on his plump lips.

I hear a sound. Someone is near us.

"Now go." I said as he walks out with me. I walk the way I heard the sound to make sure he'll be fine.

But he comes back to me since it was a dead end. But luckily I knew about a way for him to get out.

I open up a secert hatch for Conner to get out of the building.

"I love you." I said as I locked it after he walked through it.

After that I followed those footsteps that were heels clicking to the ground. But in the end I was lead to a bridge.

Then out of nowhere I felt a slight pain in my torso. I look down to see a blade through it. And blood rushing down my uniform.

"You thought your little army could kill me and stop me from leaving this base." She said.

"Kitten Ivy daughter of Robert Ivy so sweet to see Daddy's little girl came to save her army here in London. But just like your dad you won't make it to see the war end in Hydra winning. Because you will be dead a when this buidling explodes." She said as she laughed.

"Your right maybe I won't be here for the future. But I assure you there is no way in hell that Hydra will beat Shield or even the army. In the end you will fall. I know my end is near. But you will never win." I said as she stabbed me in my leg.

"You know what your right you won't win. Your gonna die right here right now." She said.

"Then I will wait for you in the afterlife." I said as I felt a stabbing pain and I passed out.

It wasn't a sword it was more like a dart.

Soon enough I woke up to something so much worse then death.

But I did this for my family. I did this for my people and shield to help them survive.

My daughter may never see me again. Same with my sister. But I assure you they will save people more than I or anyone could ever have.

A:N / Hey everyone I'm sorry it has been awhile since I have updated. I was busy after the whole situation last week. Let me say I'm doing better and I'm recovering fastly. This chapter is just a blob I know. I just didn't feel it all because I been really wanting to get to Carly's story. This is my goal to get by the end of next week is to publish the into part into [3] to end the intro part. And to start Part 2 aka chapter 1. I'm happy that I have support. This will not be the end of me writing about the 1950's and the Ivys I'm going to make a book later on with Rebecca Ivy's story which will include her dad, Kitten, her family ,friends and how she got to where she is today. And I also wanted to say thank you guys for reading Shazam and Athena.
