Waking up the next day she was alone and she felt alone for the first time in forever she felt very alone.
dhe ot up andhad a shower before changing into a lovley red dress with a pair of gold heels. once she was dressed she checked her phone for any messages or calls she may have got during the night but the only one was off carlisle telling her that bella didnt mean anything she said but of course her sister did her sister was always the one that got everything she wants as gwen got nothing. Everything was handed to bella by theor mother as gwen worked hard day and night to finish school and then get enough money to travel, the only one that cared about her future was her father and that is why she was soclose with him.
she grabbed her phone and went to the door, however the door was locked which just added onto her anger only rose, "Alec" he shouted and seconds later the door opened revealing her son, "thank you" she said and began to wak out "mother where are you going" he asked "to see the kings" she said "they are in court" he said "masters caius and Marcus have been there since you fell asleep" he added "i do not care alec" she said "mother are you ok" "no alec i am not, i am very angry and mainly at aro so be a good boy and show me where they are" she said "yes mother" he said and took her hand and lead her down the many hall ways towards the throne room. He pushed the doors open and everyone turned at the notice of a heart beat. thankfully the court was only in session because a coven of animal drinkers called the denalis where talking to aro. "Alec what is the meaning of this" Aro asked "alec go and stand with your sister" she said "yes mother" he said letting go of her hand and walking to jane.
Gwen walked around the aniaml drinking vampires and up to aro, he smiled at her but that was wiped away when she slapped him, and she swore not realising how hard her mates skin really was, marcus instantly jumped up and took her hand checking for any damage. "why did you hit him dear" caius asked sitting me on his lap as he sat on his throne however she ignored him and glared at aro "so is this how our relationship is goign to go, we are going to get to know each other at night and when i wake up your all gone and the door is locket, i will not be treated as your prisioner aro" she said "mi amore it was for your protection" he said trying to grab his mates hand but she held onto caius tighter "protection well if thats what my protection is i do not want to be here" she said "you dont mean that" aro said "dont i" she said and stood up he went to touch her again "do not touch me" she growled and walked away from him "come alec" she said and alec and the new queen left "what have you done" marcus growled shocking everyone "i wanted to keep her safe" aro said "and instead youve pushed her away" he said "my apologies eliazar but i am going to check on my mate" he said and walked out.
Gwen and alec walked all the way to the gardens and sat in the shade, alec lead down with his head in her lap as she played with his hair, the only reason alec was letting her do this was because he could tell it was calming her and it was also bringing them both comfort.
"my love" they heard marcus say as he sat down alec went to stand up but she wouldnt allow him so he closed his eyes and just listened "i dont want to be lock up like some sort of prisioner Marcus" she said "myslef and caius had no idea he had locket you in the room, believe me we would never do that" he said and his mate just nodded and leaned into him. he wrapped his arms around her and held her as she strocked alecs hair. "go to your sister" she said and alec sped away.
marcus and Gwen sat in the garden for hpurs talking and laughing, eventually caius joined them.
however all the laughter stopped when aro stood in front of them "forgive me" he begged kneeling in front of his mate "are you going to lock me away again" she asked "no" he said and she launched herslef at himand he held her "im sorry for slapping you" she whispered "i know love" he said "hows your hand" he asked "its fine" she mumbled into his neck, aro lifted her so her legs where around his waist and arms around his neck as her head was in the crook of his neck as he carried her through the castle towards his bed room.
once inside the four of them spent the day reading and cuddling until their mate fell asleep with her head in caius' lap.
