NOT SO PERFECT

NEW BEGINNINGS

My friends always called me a fool for backing out of things and yet I had all I needed in my lavish life .I do admit I was a bit of a nerd .I ought not to shout or scream at them cause I knew it was just the truth. I am a top A student pretty good at everything and I was chosen as the student body president, well may I just say that's another story that changed my whole high school experience at my new school .

My name is Laura Tyler an intelligent, brilliant, energetic girl with only one dream ,"make the world my own ". My family and I have just moved to Boston but this time its for good, well at least i hope so .

I was starting to get tired of moving from place to place as if we were Koisans .Our first house was in LA but because it was far from my dad's work ...well company ,we had to move to Denver .Then. From Los Angeles we moved to Las Vegas cause my mom couldn't keep up with work being very far from home. Now here we are in Boston ....the main house from all our houses scattered almost everywhere around the globe. My parents thought living here was perfect compromise above all and that it was perfect fit for me and my little brother ,Sam. Sam was 5 and I was seventeen about to finish high school and he had started attending kindergarten the day he turned 3 because my parents thought he was too smart but we all know it was because mom got tired of staying home all day sitting on top of her hands .But I don't blame her. ..Sam was a pest at times that I had to lock myself in my room most of the time. Boston was perfect cause most of my friends from middle school and kindergarten were there and I could just call them and hang any time .

The house here was huge and it was a two story .....the inside had a spiraling glass staircase and just as you walk in was a huge chandelier dropped on the ceiling ...two master suites one upstairs and the other on the first floor though it was smaller and my parents used the one upstairs of cause...six bedrooms in total and two dinning rooms ..one main huge kitchen ....a ball room ...gym...indoor pool...game room ...theatre ...outdoor pool ....tennis and basketball court and a small studio just outside and apart from the house.

"Dibs on the big room " ,Sam screamed at the top of his lungs but we all know he wasn't going to win that battle .
"Wait until the cookie monster gets you at night cause he sure does like little kids with big rooms ",I said it trying to wear a serious face but was bursting on the inside and it surely worked cause he got out of there screaming like crazy .
"Point Laura ...zero Sam ",I gave myself a mid air five.
