Chapter 25| Stories

Previously on Welcome Back

Remus came back in 2 minutes and gave Harry the potion, as soon as Harry drank the potion his skin stopped tingling, his back felt a little better and his head didn't feel so heavy

"Thanks, it actually helped a lot," Harry said trying to speak which earned him a glare by Lily at the end while the Marauder's laughed.

After lunch, Lily demanded that Harry goes to his bedroom to get some rest but Harry groaned and begged to stay with them.

"You will have to surgically remove me from the bed if I have to stay there anymore," Harry said in his raspy voice not noticing Sirius and James trying to hold back their laughs

"Cut the kid some slack Lily, he must be bored out of his mind constantly staying in a bed, whether it's his or the hospitals" persuaded Remus ignoring James and Sirius

After a couple more minutes of Harry begging and Remus persuading, Lily finally relented.

"Fine, it's like being the only female means that I don't get a say in what goes on" Lily grumbled

Harry took his mother hand and said "It's not like that, trust me. If we didn't listen to you, let's just say that we wouldn't have a house to live in right now"

Lily looked at her son and a smile escape her face.

"Thanks, honey," Lily said and placed a kiss on her son's cheek.

Harry blushed and then Remus helped him get to the sitting room while Lily cleared up and James and Sirius were discussing something in low voices

"Keep on your toes" Remus whispered once he had helped Harry to a couch "with them you never know, they are probably thinking of a way to prank you"

Harry grinned "That would be interesting, life is just so tiring right now, and also, they should never team up with Fred and George"

Remus laughed at this and agreed with Harry, at that moment James and Sirius came in laughing

"Spill it," Harry said looking them dead into the eyes

James and Sirius put on the famous innocent face

"Oh please, drop the act," Remus said putting his hands on his hips.

James and Sirius still kept up the innocent act and Remus and Harry both gave up but we're still keeping themselves aware because they didn't want to be the victims of a stupid prank.

They spent the whole noon telling Harry of pranks they pulled when they went to Hogwarts when they found out that Moony was a werewolf when they decided to be animagus

"It took a really long time for us to figure out how exactly the animagus procedure worked but we figured it out," James said telling the story of when they were researching about animagus

"we found a book called 'Animagus Transformations' in the restricted section of the library and when we flipped through we saw that we needed to make a special potion which took a month to make," Sirius said continuing the story

"Ms. Pince let you check that out?" Harry asked with an eyebrow raised

Sirius shook his head and James said "Had to sneak it out, we were under the invisibility cloak, I think this was in our 5th year"

"yea, right after Christmas break" Remus confirmed

"anyways, we brewed the potion and learned our animagus forms, after that it took us about 2 to 4 months becoming animagi," Sirius said finishing the story

"You should have seen James's face when he woke up one morning turned into a stag!!" Remus said laughing

"yea, well Sirius turned into a dog in the bathroom, imagine our surprise," James said recounting Sirius's first transformation

Harry wanted to ask about Peter but he didn't want to ruin the mood so instead, he asked:"what about mum?"

Lily smiled, because her son's face was beaming and because she remembered the first time she transformed

"I was with Alice and Remus at Hogsmeade, Sirius and James were in detention. So we were on our way to the '3 Broomsticks' when I felt really weird and I saw Alice shrieking at me and Remus was trying to calm her down while laughing, I looked down and found myself to be a doe, I had to learn how to change back quickly because I was scared that everyone would see me" Lily retold the story of one of the many bonding moments she had with Remus.

"wait, Alice as in Alice Longbottom?" Harry asked

Lily smiled and said, "yea, She and Frank were perfect for each other, she is your godmother, what happened to her?"

Harry awkwardly looked around, not liking where the direction this conversation was going towards.

"She and her husband were tortured into insanity by my deranged cousin," Sirius said his voice filled with sadness and hate
