Today was the day riele would start the project about taking care of children in ms.lee's class and she was beyond excited.
Riele sprang out of bed and walked straight to her closet to pick out a outfit. She then goes into the bathroom and takes a shower.
After her shower she made her hair into a half up bun half down curls hairstyle, got dressed and went downstairs to eat breakfast.
When she got downstairs she saw her cousin kai-lan who was staying over laying down on the sofa watching Netflix in her pajama's while eating a plate of bacon with a ham and egg and cheese sandwhich.
Riele thought of kai-lan as a sister so she had no problem with her staying until her(kai-lan) mother (who is riele's aunt) came back from Greece.
"So your staying home today" riele said to kai-lan (If you've ever watched the nick jr show "ni hao kai-lan" you would know how to pronounce her name I used to love that show lol)
"I have cramps so your mom let me stay and she and your dad already left so I'm taking advantage of it" kai-lan replied
"Well alright where did my mom put my food" Riele questioned as she moved into the kitchen searching furiously for her plate her mom always fixed almost every morning.
"In the microwave you savage" kai-lan yelled out
Riele went over to the microwave and grabbed her food which consisted of a slice of spinach,egg and ham quiche, 2 round sausages, and a few slices of bacon.
Riele went to sit down and she ate her food while checking her Instagram and her reminder list.
"Damn it I forgot I have to buy a new dress to present my community service project" she thought to herself
After 10 minutes riele was done with her food she washed her plate, said goodbye to kai-lan and headed out the door.
"Dont burn down the house" she called after kai-lan
Riele went over to her black Audi got in and drove to school.
At school: in ms.lee's class
Rieles pov:
As class was passing by ms.lee was explaining to her students how the child project would go.
She explained that you would be randomly partnered and that you and your partner will have to carry a fake baby around that would need to be fed every period, diaper changed every 2 periods and each partner had to contribute in order to get a passing grade as a team.
She also explained to us that you start off by picking the gender, the name and you get to dress it up but that would be real out of pocket american money. Which caused everyone to get a little more excited . And that every time we had her class we have to pay her $50 rent in fake money and still have enough money to buy diaper, food and toys for the baby at the little baby shop where we use a allowance of 300 fake dollars a week.
After she was done explaining she wrote our names down and randomly picked the partner's out of a drawing basket. She then announced the partners
"Emily Wu and Haz Harris, katelynn Smith and Kendrick Williams, jace norman and.. Luna Niyoki" she (ms.lee) paused
I did a mental groan and I guess jace felt the same way cause he groaned out loud too but little Ms.Luna was having the time of her life
" Milan Barben and Jake Ariander, lizzy greene and Michael Evan's and Riele downs and Mason Alexander" ms.lee announced
I turned around and smiled at Mason 'Atleast I'm with someone I know' I mentally thought
After ms.lee was done explaining the rules we all lined up in front of her desk with our partners to pick our babies.
I decided to go over to Jace to pray from him since he's with Luna
"May God be with you" I said while approaching Jace
"Amen" he replied
"Out of everyone in this class I had to be with her" jace groaned
"This will all blow over soon try to ignore her as much as possible good luck" I reassured him
"Thanks I'm gonna need it" he said
Luna then ran up to us and pulled on jaces arm
"Jacey let's go get our baby" she said
I mentally cringed, patted Jace on the shoulder and walked over to mason.
" ready to pick our baby, partner" Mason asked
" yes! what gender do you want" I replied
"A boy so I can teach him all I know cant be my lil man if he dont got no sauce " he said
"boy bye, it a doll better be lucky I want a boy too and I'm picking the name and I like the name greyson just so we can call him grey for short" I said
" it's still my baby doe, I like that name Grayson Alexander it is " mason said
