2. How it All Started

Start from the beginning

By their lack of style and untidy hair as well.

They were being led by one of the Form Six students; she was part of the student body. Her name was Marla; she was tall, skinny but shapely with the darkest and shiniest completion any of the new students had ever seen on a person.

Marla had turned to look at the bunch when she bumped into someone and stepped on their shoes.

Big Uh-oh moment here folks.

It would of have been fine if she had stepped on anyone else's shoes but she had to step on Ryuu Chen's. He was not just anybody (you could tell just by looking at him that he was somebody).

He was tall, well built and he had the big doe eyes that Malkia and her mother boasted but his were light brown, intense and mean. He had a beautiful face. The kind of face that was too feminine for a boy but somehow he made it seem manly to be so beautiful. His hair was in a perm and his mouth was set in a tight line that hid his lips altogether.

"I'm so sorry Ryuunosuke." Marla said bending slightly to show respect to this person who felt far bigger than he actually was.

The other children behind Marla were baffled by her behavior, was this how people normally behaved here?

You had to when you were in the presence of royalty.

Ryuu turned his head to look at the boys behind him. There were three of them; all of them over 6'5 feet tall; all of them beautiful and strikingly eye catching. You could say they were supermodel material but not even supermodels could pull off the look of entitlement and ease that these boys were oozing.

To most girls the guys were like a bright light flashing past them while they tried to form words or scream at them and geek out like they were seeing rock stars, and that was why most girls referred to the boys as Fluorescent Four; F4 for short.

They were all well known, not simply because they were insanely gorgeous but because they had more than just good looks. Their families were one of the only ten families that were certified Quadrillionairs. But even that was a side show to what each boys character was.

Ryuu Chen was the brooding bad boy with permed black curls, doe eyes that disappeared when he squinted and the kind of neck that you talked about. He was mean, inconsiderate and he said whatever came to his mind but everyone loved an unappeasable alpha male, especially when they looked like him.

There was Luke Clearwater; he had ice blue eyes and light blond hair that seemed slightly dirty blond at times. He was quiet and not a lot of people had heard him talk, he kept to himself and he only ever went places because his friends dragged him out. But everyone knew he had a heart of gold, you had to if Ryuu is your best friend.

Nyika Nshimba or Simba like everyone liked to call him was extremely dark skinned and buff, he had eyes as dark as his skin, strong jaw that flexed whenever he - well it was always flexing like that and the ladies loved it. He in turn loved the ladies, literally.

The last member was perhaps the shortest but he had the kindest face out of all of them. In a way it seemed almost as though he did not have the entitlement that all the other boys did. He was a people person (and like his best bud Simba he was a ladies man) but he also knew how to speak to the common man as if he himself were common. His name was Jasiri "Jay" Kariuki. Standing next to Simba his coppery skin seemed light.

Sigh.

"Sorry?" Ryuu said scoffing at the apology "Will sorry repair the shoes that you ruined?" He lazily lifted his feet looking at the shoe that looked perfectly fine if not a little dusty where Marla's heel had touched it.
