I covered my face. "You're so embarrassing!" "Smooch smooch" "Don't make punch your guts out and you know I'm capable of doing so!," I said threateningly. " Fine, sorry MOM," said Gemma crossing her arms. I  smile.

I had a feeling today is gonna be a great day, oh boy. How wrong was I.

After than long conversation, we finally reached school. "Hey Kris, I have to go meet up with my swim team members. Sort of an early morning meet. Catch you later?" "Sure thing, Gem!," She hugs me before leaving. Her blonde hair getting into my mouth. (why does her hair taste like strawberries?)

I enter the school building and go for my locker. Walking past a few people in the hallway, I felt something in my pocket vibrate. It was my phone and I had recieved a text from my friend Melissa

Hey Kristina! I know this is quite early but I'm throwing a party this Friday evening at my place and you're invited! I really hope you can come :) xx

I thought for a while before typing in a reply ,

Before I put my phone into my pocket, I bumped into something solid, making me drop everything but catching them using my vampire reflexes.

"Im sorry, I wasn't lookin-" I got lost in tracks when I saw who it was. "Hey there. Kristina, right?" said the person in a lazy, husky voice. I looked up and saw who it was. It was Tristan. I stared a little before stammering, "Ye-yea. That's me. Clumsy Kristina."

"How did you do that?" asked Tristan. "Do what?" "Catch everything really fast. That's mad skill, bro!" He sounded impressed. I didn't know what to say. Me  being a vampire is basically a secret, so....

 " Martial arts. I do martial arts. It improve's reflexes," I face-palmed internally . "Neat!  So you coming to the game next Sunday?"

I was taken aback for some apparent reason and the gears in my brain stopped working. "Umm Kristina? " I snapped out of it, " Oh yea,yeah off course I am. Go Pumas!" "Awesome! See ya later,"

I stared at his broad shoulders as he walked away and clenched my chest, as he was out off sight. My heart was beating like a drum and I was short of breath. "Get a grip of yourself! Where's your vampire courage?" I mentally scolded myself. Shortly, I composed myself and headed off to my locker. The bell rang as I reached my locker. I grabbed my books and hurried off to English Class.

The first few classes flew by and it was lunch break and still no sign of Gemma. She must've been busy I suppose. I went to the bathroom wash my hands before having lunch, only to be ganged up on by Queen Bitch Kate Anderson and her bimbo "friends"

"Well well well, what do we have here. Kristina Drach.  Trashy and basic as always," stated Kate with a sneer.

"What do you want?," I asked as fear started to build up inside of me. "What do I want? Oh nothing, except.... I want you to stay away from Tristan. I saw that little "accident" of yours in the morning. What's wrong, is virgin you having troubles finding a boyfriend? Pity. Tristan is MINE. Come closer to him or even look at him, I will not hesitate to cut a bitch up,"

The fear disappeared and anger started to build up. Who does she think she is? " Might wanna stand beside a fireplace next time. You're gonna melt. That's how plastic you are. Also, there's nothing between Tristan and me, so you can him your precious Tristan, Princess," I remarked wittily.

"Pathetic reply. It's best you kept your filthy mouth shut. No wonder your parents abandoned you," said Kate with no remorse in her voice. Her bimbo gang starting snickering.

I saw red when those words came out of her mouth. My eyes became darker, and my fangs started to show, Oh how I was ready to skin this bitch alive. I lunged towards Kate and punched her straight in the eye as her other "friends" ran out of the bathroom screaming. Whilst on top of her,I pulled out her extensions and was aiming a punch to her  nose. Inches before my hand collided with her plastic nose, I stopped and thought " What am I doing?" and immediately got off of her. "You-you BEAST!," she screamed as she ran out of the bathroom.

I washed my hands and left the bathroom.

Guess what? I got detention for 3 week. 3 WEEKS! Kate got away mainly because her dad is a powerful lawyer and can end up suing the school in minutes.Bitch.

I finally caught up with Gemma in Chemistry class before the teacher came. "I heard what happened in the bathroom between Kate and you" "What? Already? It hasn't even been an hour," "Kristina...," said Gemma sounding disappointed. " I'm sorry, okay? She pushed my buttons a bit too hard and I lost control. So what!" "Your secret Kristina! Don't want anyone to know," stated Gemma all hushed up. " It's fine. Kate's too dumb to realize I'm a vampire" " I guess you're right. You better stay out of trouble from now on," " I'll try." "Sure you will" "HEY! What's that supposed to mea-" I was cut off by my Chemistry teacher.

"Alright class, turned to page 50 and today we're going to do some organic chemistry"

I internally groaned.

Today has been a long day for me.
