Too late now.
"Keep running! Don't look back!" shouts a young teen, their short auburn hair whipped around their head as they stood there, back straight and ready for what they faced. No regrets. Absolutely no regrets, they thought.
It had been their friends, other orphans, who they had told to run. And it was their crumbling orphanage that they now faced, about to run right back into. It was their likely death and miserable life they did not regret. Then it was the nuns, who had looked after them their entire life, that they were about to run in for.
Finally, it was three boys who stood beside them, ready. Inside was the thing that destroyed their world and took an eye, Ultimately, the thing tried to destroy what little they had but, in the end, it formed a group that was set on vengeance.

Three Years Later...
Where did those idiots go, Ash was seriously getting worried now. Their friends could handle themselves sure, but they still got hurt, a lot. But what they were truly worried about was not them getting into a fight. The more they thought about it the angrier they got, but under all that anger was sadness and shame.
They sped up their dirt bike, although they were old enough, they weren't supposed to drive. However, this situation called for it, they just hoped they didn't hit anything.
As Ash raced down the small town roads, it began to grow darker and this meant the boys (Corrin leading with Eloy and Domenic following) could now enact their revenge plan. You see that is what this rag-tag group specialized in, but this time the boys were really angry. They were all very protective of Ash. So when the new boy thought he could push around the smaller teen, the boys decided he needed to be taught a lesson. So now the boys were hidden in the shadows across the street from the new boy's house.
"Are we all clear on the plan," asked Corrin. The other two nodded in response. They were a well-oiled machine, though it was usually Ash who led and acted as surveillance (though more importantly heal them when they messed up), but the boys had determination to lead them.
Quietly, they crept forward, Corrin in the front until they broke off into their different jobs.
Domenic went to the new boy's car, his pride and joy, and slid under it. He was wearing his belt which held all of his favorite toys. He smiled as he thought of which one to use. Corrin had told him not to use anything too fun, which frustrated Domenic a little, as it could get them into some big trouble, and especially anger Ash.
While Domenic played, Eloy had a more tedious job. He was to watch the family and make sure they didn't notice the other two, but more importantly, he was to find the target's room and locate him. When he broke off from the other two he crept to the front of the house.
"Why," he muttered to himself. "Do people insist on surrounding their houses with shrubbery? And ligustrum amurense of all things!"
"Keep quiet Eloy," Corrin hissed over their earpieces. "Especially if you're going to be all nerdy."
You like it when Ash does it, he thought, but he kept it to himself. Now wasn't the time to harass him, but later he most definitely would. Eloy went back to his job, moving as close to the hedges as possible. Carefully, he peered into the first window where all he saw was a small, extra living room.
Ugh, he thought. Rich people and all their extra rooms! And are those fake plants! He continued along the side of the house until he came to a long window with lots of light pouring out. Committed to his friends, he didn't hesitate in taking the risk of looking, even though with all of the light he would be easily spotted.
