"Please, Kate you have to wake up. I know it's selfish but I can't imagine my life without being a little sister in it for me. Do it for me, for Glen, For Arthur, For Harry, for all of us Kate. We're all waiting here for you to wake up." William started, looking at her, he hoped for a reaction, any reaction, but none came, that's when he let out a sigh of defeat. They had no idea when or even if she'd ever wake up.

Glen, on the other hand, had been attacked by Arthur the moment he'd walking into Kate and William's place. "So William finally got ou to come out," Catherine noted from the doorway where she stood with little Louis in her arms, as he cradled his own son against his own chest. "He did," Glen confirmed with an exhausted sigh.

"Good, breakfast is ready and you can take a shower after that," Catherine told him as he followed her into the kitchen before sitting down with Arthur on his lap. He wouldn't let go of his dad, he didn't say anything, just sat there, being held by his dad, close, not wanting to let him go either.

five more days passed like that. Ten days since the attack on the museum near the end of June. Glen's birthday had passed the day before but hadn't been celebrated. The museum was still closed and a crime scene and it would be closed for the unseeable future. The bodies had been removed, but things needed repairing and death still hung in the air there.

Except the cops and army had gone inside, no one else. Service had been held at Westminster two days ago, the only reason no royal had been found at the hospital. The Royals had attended countless services all in the name of this or that. But none had hit as close to home as this one. Kate, in all but blood, was a part of their family. She may not have been born in it, but she was as much of Royal to them like them, she was adopted into it.

And she was still unconscious, fighting for her life, with no change in her condition at all.

Even the Queen and Philip had gone by for two visits. The press had stationed itself outside of the entrance door to see who came and went every day. There were the steady fixtures such as Harry, William and Arthur who came every evening with Catherine or Meghan. Mia, her best friend beside Pippa and Catherine came every day as well with her grandparents. Pippa came by every day as well. Charles and Camilla were a steady fixture as well in the evening. And then there were the not so steady fixtures such as the Queen, Philip, of the other members of the Royal family and friends of the woman on the upper floor of the hospital.

Doctors had performed tests to try and figure out why she wasn't waking up. But the answer was always the same. Her body needed to heal and it was going to take as long as her body needed. Is she wanted to wake up and her body could handle it, she would. No one could predict when that would be. Her brain activity was there and present, it was just a matter of her waking up.

That night, ten days from when she'd almost died several times, Glen was still at her bedside. He'd changed his routine to the first five days, however. Every morning when William or Harry would arrive he'd take the car to KP. There he'd have breakfast and spend time with Arthur, have a shower and return by noon to watch over her.

He hadn't shaved so he'd gotten quite a stubble by now. Mark and Danny were continuing the last of the concerts without him and the replacement in place. The fans were incredibly supportive both in real life and social media. Not that Glen answered to it, he looked on Social media, just to have some strength and it did give him some strength to know that they all supported them as much. But he didn't have the energy to start a tweet session, it wasn't the right time either.

Vigils had been held for all those who'd died and been injured. So much death and because of what?

Kate may not have been awake throughout it all, but she'd heard all those who'd come by and sat with her. Heard them begging for her to come to them, to return to them all. She just couldn't yet, no matter how much she wanted to. But every time she tried it asked too much energy, the energy she didn't have. She'd almost cheered when she'd heard William rip Glen a new one to be with their son and take care of himself.
