the perfect kawaii pastel aesthetic room is, in essence, the word 'cute'. in all possible meanings.
paint is the start for every room. pink is a hugely popular one— it's soft, can be varied shades, and matches with tons of other colours. also as a pastel colour it gives your room a brighter, younger feeling.

shelving units are a must have!! you have to have room to show off all your trinkets and collectibles right? white is the perfect colour to add to the 'lighter' vibe as well as not being too distracting or bold. anything can go on the shelves, but it's perfect to display figurines, toys, and stuffies.

for the bed, stick to a solid coloured comforter/duvet and add fun patterned pillows! your bed will most likely be covered with stuffed animals and the like, so having a simple background would be nice. if you have a certain accent colour (like for example, blue) try to find pillows in that colour.

a few other cute things to add would be: a heart-shaped mirror on a makeup table, cute pencil and pen holders, small plants or flowers, and pictures or posters!
