I'd always known I was an experiment. My parents had drilled it into me from a young age. Someone was watching my every move, and although I had free will, my decisions were made knowing that someone out there was judging them.

At least I wasn't the only one. The whole world was a goldfish bowl and the Higher Powers were watching all of us. Think "Big Brother" on a world scale. The possibilities and reasons behind it were endless. As were the outcomes.

We weren't the only experimental planet. As for how many there are? Nobody knows. We are just known as Planet 7. Different planets have different variables. It's all to see how mankind's survival instincts work.

Our planet used to be just like yours. We had a government who ran the country; we had religions and Gods we believed in. But certain groups saw the lies for what they were and had issues with it. They are known as Theorists. These people, for some reason, are born with the ability to see more than others. They are able to see through the lies and what we are told. These people are hunted and killed. The Higher Powers don't want us to know what is really going on.

But the Theorists found ways to tell people what was happening. Secret posters and radio broadcasts were put out and some people saw the logic in the Theorist's arguments. Soon "rebel groups" were springing up all over the place and making plans to overthrow their country's government. How would you feel after finding out everything you believed was a lie? People were angry and they urged others to open their eyes and read between the lines of what they were being told by an Authority that had lied to them. So more people listened and saw the Experiment for what it was.

That's where things started to go wrong. There were riots in the streets. Bombs planted, killing innocent people. Society as we had always known it was beginning to crumble and there was nothing we could do about it. Schools closed, streets were deserted. But at night the sky was lit up with gunfire and exploding bombs. Then something happened that proved the Theorists right. One night after thousands had been killed in an attack, the television broadcasts were interrupted. Messages began to repeat, trying to brainwash us into submission, to ignore all he information we had learned. But it was too late. We already knew, and we weren't going to forget in a hurry.

This led to underground groups, secret meetings, and anonymous messages left on the sides of buildings. It could not be proven where the messages came from, but people refused to be silenced. As more and more people joined the cause, there were rumours of uprisings and taking control of our planet for ourselves.

Then on November 1st 2072 I awoke to find that the Government were no longer in control. They had been overthrown by the biggest cell of Theorists known as ... After months of speculation, we were finally in charge. But it wouldn't end there, there was to be no happy ever after.

In however many years the Experiments had been running, no planet had ever developed the ability to overthrow their leaders. The Higher Powers could not understand how or why this had happened. They thought that even though we were lied to and had all the information hidden from us, that we would be happy and content. Boy was that a mistake!

The Higher Powers made a decision, to try and restore order they would send their Military Ships and try and make us submit through sheer force. This uprising was happening in every country across the world, so was never going to be an easy task.

The fighting went on for two years. Millions of lives were lost. Ours and theirs. This leads us to today, living in underground bunkers, avoiding the Higher Power army and rebels, and just trying to survive. What a life huh? Who says life is easier when you grow up?
