Chapter 2

{Kris P.O.V}
On my way to school, I ran into my friend Ralsei. Shes been there for me since the beginning.

This time, her hair was in cute white pigtails and she wore a pink scarf round her neck. "Hey Ral!" I smiled.
"H-Hey Kris..." She studdered walking along side me.

"Hows Frisk and Chara!" She asked. "Fine...Though Chara has been obsessed with scary stuff latley...." I sighed.

"Maybe its just a phase...Asreial went through one of those...." She said. "Maybe....Also, Frisk as been really clingly latley...." I chuckled.

"Wow....Must be tough having sisters in rhe house all the time..." She smiled pushing her glasses up. "Nah...Its not so bad...I think their cute!" I smiled playing with her pigtails.

"K-Kris! Leave my hair alone!" She said burying her face into her scarf. "But you look cute when your flustered!" I smiled. "W-WHA?!" She yelled.

I chuckled and blushed a bit.

{Time skip to school}
Once we arrived at school, Ralsei went to to her class and I went to mine. I heard the bell ring while I was putting my backpack in the locker.

I cursed under my breath and ran to my class. I opened the door to see everyone sitting there staring at me. "So,Everyone have a..." But Alphys was cut short at the sight of me.

"O-Oh! K-Kris! We thought you weren't coming today!" Alphys studdered. I just stared with my normal blank face.

"We're doing group projects this month....Uh...So walk around and find a partner ok?"

I walked around the classroom as everyone started to do the daily chatter. Everyone said the same thing.

(A/N: In this book the monster kid is the same age as Frisk and Chara. Not the same age as Kris. So when I add that part, imagin it as someone else)

"Yo Kris! Show up earlier next time! I eneded up having to partner with snowy haha! Now he keeps turning to me and saying howdy partner like a cowboy!"

"Krisp! Awa....ver sorz! Tem already have a partner!"

Just then he placed and egg on the table. But it seems like its already got a partner...

"Partn'er? I hardly know 'er!haha! Whaddya think of that one?! Funny right? No? Well, I got NEWS for you, pal. I alreadt GOT a partner! Scram!"

"Ah Kris....Late again I see.....Need a partner hm? Sorry...Im already partners with the second smartest student! Though wait..." He paused.

"Kris, now that I think about it! Your unigue skillset might help a LOT on this assignment!" He smiled.

Just for a moment....For a SPLIT second...I felt a glimmer of hope! Just a bit! Until he said,

"Pfft, not! I actually want to get an A!" He scoffed making a weird face. I glared and snarled at him before I stomped away.

"Taken...." She said, typing om her phone.

I asked everyone else but one person. "Hey Kris! Whats up? Didja lose your pencil again?" Noelle smiled. She had also been a good friend of mine ever since I was young.

Shes another person I can be myself around without being judged.

One time, when my parents brought me over to her house, I hid under her bed and scared her. We've been friends since.

She took out two cute pencils and asked, "Here! You want the candy cane one, or the one with lights on it?" She smiled sweetly.

When I told her my situation, she looked kerfuffled for a moment.
