I'll Wait For You

Jungkook POV

In the hospital, running towards the door.

I didn't have a lot of time.

I opened the door to find him.

The love of my life.

He looked at me when I entered the room.

I ran to him and jumped on the hospital bed, holding onto him.

Tears fell hard as I sobbed into his neck.

I hated the words the doctor had said.

There will never be a day that I would like what he said.

My boyfriend caresses my back.

"T-Tae, what if the surgery goes wrong? You heard what the doctor said."

"Kookie, don't worry. They're one of the best doctors in the country."

"But what if you die!"

"Then I'll wait for you. I would wait centuries to be with you. But for now, promise me that you'll wait for me after the surgery if I survive."

"I love you, Taehyung. I'll wait for you."

"I love you too, Jungkook. Wait for me."

I had to leave his room so the surgery could be done.

I waited.

I waited hours for the surgeons to tell me the news.

A Few Months Later

Everything had been lifted off my shoulders.

All the emotion was now gone.

I was walking around the area I was in, when I saw him.

"Taehyung!"

"Jungkook!"

I ran into his arms and kissed him.

He told the truth.

"I told you I'll wait for you."
