• the reasoning is pretty clear, she likes to think she's pretty fair when it comes to other people's ideas, but hers always win. She's not fond of the nickname, but she's fond of you so she lets it go.

• you found her librarian look sexy, but being a C.O you couldn't exactly walk around calling sex on legs or whatever. You stuck with Specs, other people assumed it was just part of your fun nature.
Nicky ~ Nick, or Sunshine.
• Nick is just a shortened version of her name that caught on; sunshine was to tease her, because she was always so darn happy about being in prison.

• she's just hot.
Poussey ~ Pussy, or baby.
• The first is to tease her, not uncommon amongst her friends; baby is simply a sweet name, she's a soppy romantic and gives you her lovey puppy eyes every time you call her that.
Carol ~ Care, babe.
• The first is just a shortened version of her name, her sister uses it so whenever people use it to it aggravates her, but it's you, so she doesn't mind too much.
Babe is just a term of endearment that happened naturally, it came out of your mouth once and she glared at you for ten minutes before smirking to herself. You took that as a sign she liked it.
Maritza ~ Mar, doll.
• Mar is just a shortened version of her name, she loves it when you call her that for some reason.
Doll is old-fashioned but sweet as heck, she adores it, and you.
