Do you see the way she looks at you?
The way she can't help but follow you with her eyes
The way she smiles whenever you do
And lets out a longing sigh
Do you hear the way she talks about you?
With such praise and pride
I can't believe you have no clue
How she makes you glow so bright
Do you hear the way her heart breaks?
As she watches you with your lady love?
And as her heart speaks of heartache
You wouldn't even notice the best thing you'll never have
And finally she looks away,
Shuts you out completely,
She realized she'll find someone better someday,
And then all you'll be is a memory
