Chapter 5

Bigby's POV

I just can't get my head around how bad things are happening to Heather right now, and she screams every time? What is going on? I'll protect, for whatever cost

We were in the business office while Heather was drawing, I don't know what yet but, I bet it is great

"Bigby, come look at this...please..." she looks down at it

"Sure, what is it?" I look at it but it wasn't the cute picture I thought she did, it was a drawing of her, screaming with her hands in front of her and pressure waves in front of her or something like that

"Banshee" someone says behind us, it was Dr Swineheart. Heather runs behind Bigby

"What do you mean?"

"That drawing is of a banshee, they are quite rare now. Heather, do you know why you drew it?"

She comes out from behind me, "it was when I had that bad dream..." Our eyes widen

"Was it you in the dream?" She nods, "could you maybe, show us. If you can?"

"Swineheart, I don't think it is a good idea..." he interrupts

"We may as well just try, could you try?"

Heather tried to concentrate, "I can't"

"Hold on a second..." he goes and looks in the books. "Here, Banshee"

I walk over with Heather, "most banshee's start at the age of...thirteen, so Heather's age. If they are in danger, or feel threatened, they scream so loudly that even mirrors and glass break from the loud noise. Also, they use pressure that you can see to keep people away from them and they go flying. So, we basically have to make her feel threatened..."

She looks down, they door then opens and it was Bluebeard. Heather looks scared, but it looks like she stands her ground. "Bigby, you need to get rid of her now!"

"Or what?" I say

"I'll kill her" he held his knife in his hand. He then comes over. Heather watches and when he comes close to her, her eyes change to blue, she screams which makes me cover my ears but still watching, and Bluebeard gets thrown back. She stops when he lands on the floor

Heather was out of breath and was breathing fast. She looks over to me and he eyes change back to normal when she looks at me. I was so surprised, she is definitely NOT a Mundy

"Well, we now know then. We have to be careful though, as this will happen when ever she is too upset, scared, or threatened"

Heather looks over to Bluebeard as he looks at her and walks out the room. She was shaking a little so I go and hug her, "I'm weird aren't I?" She asks me

"No no, not at all. You are unique, there nothing wrong with that" She hugs me back

So Heather is a banshee then, that's different, especially that they are rare

They just need to make sure she does feel safe all the time
