83 days after patient zero
Boe Duck:
I live out in the Boonies k? And out here crazy stuff happens and that's that. This mornin' I heard banging on my front door when I stepped out I saw a man dressed in all grey start walking into my house.
He was shamblin' he was drunk and he smelt like my horse's barn. He tried attacking me so I shot his head straight through the window. Yeehaw! I looked at his body and he was some rotten brain dead zombie. He wasn't dressed in grey his skin was grey. Two more of em things came out of the woods and I shot both of them dead too. They were dressed like city folk and like I said before I live about a 124 miles from the city of Houston.
About and hour later, next page.
I turned on my radio and it said something about an extreme disease that turns people into walking shambling monsters. I guess that explains the uninvited guests. Y'know I took up journaling when living alone got boring. It was a good way to pass the time. This is my last entry these things... there all around the house. Good bye world. Goodbye Linsey.
The zombies surrounded the house attacking the windows and doors they swarmed up the stairs. The sound of a pin dropping was hear before a single gun shot. When the zombies finally broke in the door there laid a lifeless body with a revolver in one hand.
Guess that's a good way to start my book. Hope it was enjoyable.
