The news spread like wildfire. Close friends, distant relatives, everyone soon knew about it.

Cornelia and the assassin were now officially official.

...Basically the ship has sailed folks!

Of course, this made a lot of people happy, others weren't so lucky. Some saiyans...

Aliens...

Gods...

One of the most powerful beings in the universes that could kill a god of destruction...

Yes, even Jiren the Gray was forced to be happy about this occasion. Hence the word 'forced.' Jiren wanted to tell Cornelia how much he loved her, but it was too late.

Even though he wanted her so badly, she was just never in his reach. He couldn't let his selfish desires take control of him once again.

He remembered the way her brown eyes pierced through his tough exterior. That day, he had saw his worst fears come to life. His nightmares growing worse and more vivid than the last. He never wanted to feel this kind of pain.

Maybe love really was for the weak.

He did everything he could in his powers to keep himself occupied. Relentless training, meditating, work, whatever came to his mind. No matter what he did, what tricks he tried, none of it worked. The man was getting worse by the day.

Heck, he couldn't even keep track with time itself.

Toppo was the only one who recognized that Jiren was doing worse, but it's not like anyone else could read him as well as Toppo himself could. It was hard forgetting someone like Cornelia, though. Her image is still burned inside the mind of every person she met.

Cocotte was jealous enough of Cornelia, so she tried to cheer him up. Heck, on special nights they actually did go far. In reality Jiren was always empty from the moment Cornelia left, and he never had any real interaction with anyone else after his heartbreak...

...at least for now.

On Earth, somewhere near Capsule Corp., a young lady was training with her agility and parkour skills. As a pupil under a new teacher guide, she aimed to reach their level. Indeed, the teacher was powerful, smart, and very caring towards each and everyone of her students.

Training alone was boring, since most people knew that training with a sparring partner makes quite a difference.

After silently landing on a tree branch, she called it a day and started to leap towards the large building in the distance.

Oh, if only she had.

Before she could make any moves, she felt a powerful ki in the distance. No, there was more than one, that's for sure. She looked up to the sky, as if trying to locate any flying power-crazed overlord that is coming to enslave all of humanity.

She quickly hid her presence and hid among the trees. She peered through the leaves and saw a space pod thing land in a larger, open field.

Once it had landed, the girl was scared, yet curious. Why would there be aliens here? I mean, she knew that they existed, she was friends with Bulma after all. She likes to talk about her husband a lot, but who can blame her?

While lost in her thoughts, a pink haired alien walked out and observed the surroundings. She had been on many planets, in fact she had visited this planet before.

Her instructions were to lightly scan the area and report back, but she had quite a lot on her mind.

She walked further out into the forest as dark brown irises tracked her every move. The alien looked up into the sky with her guard down. The girl was so focused on her that she didn't realize that the branch she was on  was very thin and snapped.
