Varuna's P.O.V

The party was on full swing where everyone was enjoying it including me. After eating the cake fully and whole heartedly I started socializing with some cute dolls. Yeppe I quickly got acquainted with Shashi's friends who were sooo lovely and adorable. The mini angels were all playing with the balloons and the most important thing was they included me in their game yippee. It was fun. Actually I tried to mingle with elder people too which happened to be Anandhi akka's group but they were all boring and always talking about their household work and household hacks they discovered recently . Sorry it's not that I hate household chores but talking to Aachi every day I almost know every household hacks because she bugs me about them every single day. Sooo I really needed a change lol

"OR WE CAN ALSO SAY THAT YOU'RE A NUT CRACK

WHO FINDS AN EXCUSE TO HANGOUT WITH BABIES ALL THE TIME" mocked my twin who's inside my head.

Suddenly my ice cream (Shashi) came up with the plan of taking family selfies sooo the mini dolls splitted up to bring their parents who were happily chatting in the party.

I sighed and went in search of Aacha and Aacchi for the selfie. I spotted Aacha who was having a hearty conversation with Arjun's dad so I thought to call him after searching for Aachi. I scanned the entire hall in looking for Aachi but I didn't find her anywhere. Mmme Where did this drama queen go? Maybe Aachi is in the foyer or in the sitout. I tried calling her phone but she didn't attend it. Yes Aachi has this habit of putting her phone on silent mode whenever she's outside uffffff .So I jogged to the foyer to call for Aachi where I found a group of youngsters chatting along with Arjun. Maybe they are Arjun's friends but who cares

"OBVIOUSLY IT'S YOU CARES

DON'T ACT AS THOUGH HIS PRESENCE DIDN'T AFFECT YOU" laughed my conscience. Okkkk maybe a little

"A LITTLE

WHO ARE YOU TRYING TO CONVINCE HERE" scoffed my mind voice. Ufff for the past one hour I was trying to block Arjun and his thoughts in all possible ways but it's impossible if God wants you to suffer and sabotage your plans by giving you a brainless mind voice.

On seeing me they stopped their chat and gave me an amused look except for Arjun who was annoyed of my presence. What did I do now? A tall bulky man with impressive features(but not as handsome as Arjun) who was standing close to Arjun murmured something on his ears which made Arjun glare at him and then at me. Damn those gorgeous hard intense brown eyes that make you pee on your pants but still you can't stop yourself from admiring its depth.

I was about to walk forward when a loud chorus of "hi" was heard which was indeed by Arjun's friends except for the rude handsome man. I waved an awkward "hi" to them and left the place as the presence of these men made me uncomfortable especially the scrutinizing gaze of Arjun. I searched for Aachi in the sitout and frowned when I didn't find her there...where did she go?

I then stepped down the sitout and was about to walk into the garden to check on Aachi in the parking lot when a loud rugged voice stopped me

"Where are you going" Arjun asked me with a strange look on his face. I huffed!
"I can't find Aachi
Did she come out" I questioned Arjun staring straight into his eyes. Well it was a bit difficult to stare at him when he was way too taller than me.
