Jack POV

"Jack Overland?" Elsa asks.

My eyes widened. We were so close to kissing, why now?

"That name sounds...familiar." I respond while running a hand through my hair.

Elsa gasped as she pointed to my hand. There has got to be something wrong with this girl.

"He did that too!" She said, her voice rising an octave.

"What the hell are you talking about Elsa?!" I shout back.

She sighed.

"I guess you should know." She mumbled.

She began telling me about this Jack Overland that she had met three years ago, and pretty much just vanished one day. The strange part was...I rose out of the water the night he went missing. If I could just remember which pond it was...

"Do you remember anything specific about the night you rose out of the water?" She asked anxiously.

"I don't know! All I remember was it was night time, and I rose out of pond only knowing my name. Also that most people don't see me!" Why does she have to prod me of painful memories.

Being invisible is worse than anything else. I never have been able to have a real conversation with another person until Elsa. I remember wishing it was someone else, that I could just die there and be at peace.

"I need to be alone for a while...to clear my head." I told Elsa and flew away before she could respond.

Why do things have to be so difficult?! All I wanted was a friend...anyone would do. After meeting Elsa, it felt like a fresh start. I thought that if I got to know her...maybe we could be something more.

I guess that's out of the picture. I gently sat down on my favorite branch. Elsa can find her way back to the ice castle right? I thought good thoughts of how she was safe as I slowly drifted off to sleep...

-Time Lapse-

I woke up with a jolt. The sun was setting as I heard an ear piercing scream come from the distance. I jumped off the branch without thinking and flew as quickly as I could to the source of the scream.

It was coming from Elsa's castle. I burst through her balcony doors and saw something horrifying. Elsa was trapped with two guards both trying to kill her. There was also the other man who I saw at Elsa's coronation.

Elsa's eyes widened in fear as a arrow from one of the man'e crossbow came flying to her. Luckily, Elsa used her ice magic to protect herself, just in the nick of time. I darted for the man who fired at Elsa, but passed right though him.

Right, I am practically invisible to the entire world, I thought. Elsa had her back against me the whole time. I tried calling out her name, but she didn't hear me.

The man from the coronation-I still don't know his name- noticed one of the men who was pinned against the wall with ice aiming his crossbow at Elsa with one final attempt.

The other guy hit it out of the way, but the direction it was going didn't seem to make it better. The chandelier started tumbling down towards Elsa as she picked up her skirts and began to run.

I tried to help her, but I was too late. She fell down onto the transparent floor. She was knocked out cold. I ran my fingers through my hair in disbelief. All I could do was watch as they carried her motionless body down the hill.

I needed to save her, but how. I flew away to come up with a plan...I might need some help...
