Wait (5) - B.B.

"She's so small," you said as a nurse opened the side for you.

"She's weighing about 3.5 pounds," the nurse said. "You can touch her if you want."

You reached your hand and put a finger by her tiny little hand. She grasped your finger and you opened your mouth in excitement. You looked at Bucky and he just chuckled. He kissed your forehead and watched you interact with your daughter finally. He stood by your side holding your free hand into his.

Flashback

"No, no, no," you said shaking your head and burying your face into Bucky's chest.

"You scared of a bit of thunder?" Bucky teased.

Lightning hit the ground outside and you heard the roar. You squealed and clutched onto Bucky's shirt tighter. You shook in fear and tears started streaming down your face. You closed your eyes shut and scrunched up your face.

"Oh, Doll," Bucky cooed holding you tighter and rubbing your back. "It's just a bit of thunder and lightning."

You whimpered as the thunder roars again. He peeled you off of him and he sat up. He took your hand and you followed him out. He took his phone with him and he led you all the way outside to the pool deck.

It's raining cats and dogs and he played Angel Of The Morning by Juice Newton on his phone. He turned up the volume all the way up and he put his phone down on a table that's covered.

"What are you doing?" You asked as he took your hand and pulled you out into the rain.

"There'll be no strings to bind your hands

I see no need to take me home
I'm old enough to face the dawn," Bucky sang terribly and he twirled you around.

Then slowly turn away from me," he sang with all his heart out.

You both sang together and danced in the rain. The sound of thunder spooked you and you immediately went to Bucky. He cupped your face as lightning strikes again and he pressed his lips against yours. Your lips moved in sync and it distracted you from the thunders.

Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley starts playing. He slow danced with you in the dark night and kept you close to his chest as the two of you looked out at the sky.

"What dumbasses," Tony said as Skye, him, Steve, and Coulson watch.

"She hates thunder," Skye said.

"They're gonna catch a cold," Steve said.

"That's what you care about? Not that some chick has stolen your best friend," Tony said.

"Nope, I'm happy for them," Steve said. "Bucky's never been this happy in a long time. He's definitely in love with her."

"I will shoot your friend if he breaks her heart," Coulson said.

"I'll make his life a living hell. You won't be able to stop me, Captain," Skye said looking up at the blonde super soldier.

Skye and Coulson took off before they could say anything.

"She's definitely in love with him. You should bring them in, they might catch a cold," Tony said walking off.

"Nah, I'll let them have their moment," Steve said seeing Bucky has his arms wrapped around you from behind as you both watch the lightning storm.

Bucky stood across the hallway. Your main nurse is right beside you. You're trying out crutches for the first time ever. You still haven't gotten to hold Kayden in your arms yet but that's your goal.

"You've got this, babe!" Bucky said.

You slowly started using your crutches. You're wearing a white T-shirt and blue running shorts. You picked up the pace seeing Bucky's lips and you really just wanna kiss the man. You slip.

You come crashing down and tearing your stitches out. The nurse and Bucky come running over to you. You rolled onto your back and hold your side as the blood seeps through.

"No, no, no," you cried out.

You coughed up some blood and Bucky knew it was bad.

"Doll, Y/n," Bucky said as more nurses and doctors come. "You're gonna be okay!"
