Yandere!Kirishima Eijirou x suicidal!reader - (part one)Mine to Protect

Start from the beginning

She ran water over her wrist, cleaning it with some rubbing alcohol. Walking towards the shower, she stepped in and began to cleanse her body.

Timeskip (there won't be as many as there were in the Todoroki one)

Walking over to her bed, she slipped under the covers in the dark. Pulling her phone out of her shorts pocket, she opened it and began to scroll through her social media. She only had the apps so that she could keep an eye on her favourite heroes and youtubers. Her friends had prompted her to join the class's group chat, though she kind of regretted it now. The classmates she had seemed so happy, none of them being unhappy (not including Bakugou). Everyone else was so motivated to become one of the best heroes in Japan, while she was different. She didn't want to be a hero; her father had forced her into it after witnessing the strength of her quirk.

A message popped up on the screen while she had spaced out, bringing her attention back to the small device.

Kirishima-san: Are you okay? You seemed a little distant today..

She felt a little despair build up, though knowing that someone had to find out soon. She had been the most cautious around Kirishima Eijirou recently, because she had noticed that he had been watching her more often. It wasn't the small glances that he sent her way anymore, it was staring at her as she tried to complete her classwork. This made her think that perhaps he had discovered her secret. The one that only she knew about.

She opened the chat, seeing that he had sent another few messages.

Kirishima-san: Are you okay? You seemed a little distant today..

Kirishima-san: Hey, are you awake?

Kirishima-san: Please answer me Y/n-chan.

Kirishima-san: I want to know about you and Shoji.

Kirishima-san: Tell me why you were talking to him in the library.

Y/n-chan: Sorry, I was at the toilet.

He knew that was a lie. He was watching her afterall.

Y/n-chan: and what do you mean by 'me and Shoji'?

Kirishima-san: You were both at the library and it looked like you were having a deep conversation.

Y/n-chan: That was a private conversation. He was having family problems.

Kirishima-san: Poor guy, did you manage to sort things out?

Y/n-chan: yeah, he's fine now.

Kirishima-san: okay. And what about you?

She hoped that he had forgotten about that, but obviously not.

Y/n-chan: Yeah i'm great. I just didn't sleep well last night.

Another message popped up from someone different.

(bully/name): What the hell do you think you're doing, whore?!?!

Littlebitch: I didn't do anything.

B/n: You clearly did. Everyone is talking about you again!

Littlebitch: please don't message me.

B/n: You can't tell me what to do, you slut.

She sighed and ignored the flurry of insults that came after that, throwing her phone across her bedroom and diving under the warm covers. They were her only source of comfort as she cried herself to sleep.

Timeskip

Heading into school the next day was a nightmare. She looked even worse than usual today, deciding not to smile at anyone like she normally did. There was no point anymore.

The class was full when she arrived just before the bell, all looking at the door as she entered. Her fellow classmates noticed the sad look upon her beautiful face, slight dark bags under her eyes. They were all concerned about her wellbeing, one person more than the others. Y/n thought that they were just staring at her ugly face and pale skin, so she proceeded to make her way to her seat near the front of the class. She sat down and put her bag on the back of her chair, taking out a pencil and eraser. She watched the Aizawa-sensei walk into the room and begin teaching, though it was clear that he had noticed her appearance too. As the teacher of the class, he was obligated to care for his students, though he knew that he had grown attached to them anyway.

The first bell went after the class, and everyone packed up their things. There was a loud noise outside of the classroom and everyone looked at the doors, only to see B/n burst into the classroom with an angry look upon her face. She stomped up to Y/n and grabbed her arm, causing her to wince a little since her wounds weren't healed. She turned to the rest of the class, noticing that she already had their attention, before yanking the blazer sleeve up the girl's arm. The force caused many of the cuts to open again, poorly wrapped, blood-stained bandaging hanging from her forearm. Gasps could be heard from around the room, wide eyes staring at the girl's arm.

"This is what you were hiding, little bitch!"

Aizawa was about to intervene, but Y/n pulled her arm back from the other girl and hurried out of the classroom. He knew that someone would have to follow her, but his thinking was too slow. A certain red-head had already followed her out, running after her in an attempt to help her. Kirishima had no idea that she would do something like that to herself. He saw her as the most stunning female he had ever seen. Maybe he thought of her as more than a friend, but he didn't care. He just wanted to be by her side.

She slipped her shoes off and sat them down neatly beside her, looking over the ledge. She was almost certain that this would kill her. She was panicking a lot more than she thought she would when this time came along, but that was likely because it was on such short notice.

Kirishima made it up to the roof and dread settled in as he saw her standing over the other side of the fence. No one was supposed to be up there, and the fence was there to stop students from falling. He knew how large the school was; this ledge wasn't the highest, but it could still kill her. He rushed towards her, eyes watering as she closed her eyes and stepped off of the ledge. He screamed, looking through the fence as a sickening crack echoed all around him. He heard yells from other students and people yelling to call the cops, though all he could think about was the look on her face. She had looked so calm when she was stepping over the edge. It terrified him to think that she would want this. It scared him to see the marks on her arms. It made him angry that someone else had caused her this pain. But most of all, he felt aching in his chest. The girl he loved had just killed herself.

He cried as he fell to his knees, deaf to the door opening behind him and other students from the class rushing over to see what had happened. They stayed silent in shock.

"There's a pulse!"

His eyes flew open and he sprinted down the stairs, heading outside to see her already on a stretcher. Her sliced up arm was visible to everyone, and she had an oxygen mask on. There was blood on her head and other scrapes on her body, and what looked like broken bones.

"Excuse me! Is she alive?"

The paramedic nodded.

"She only just made it. She's one lucky girl, son."

They carried her into the ambulance, shutting the doors in his face.

That was the day that Kirishima vowed to protect Y/n against any harm that came her way. He would keep her safe and prevent anyone hurting her again.
