Thanks a ton for reading this. This poem is really not like a poem. You might get its point and some of you might not but that's okay. It's completely all right (alright is grammatically incorrect ). If you still wanna know the meaning I elaborate it as:
There's certain things we avoid and dread tackling it. We look away from the impending footsteps until they're knocking at your doorsteps. This poem is about those things. The speaker seems to be digging their own grave to avoid confrontation. There's a lot of way to define that and it's just a basic explanation.
