A/N we're starting off strong. And sad. jeez the title is long Sorry! (also, there's low-key Sabriel here. yay)

,,You promised. You fucking promised."

Dean Winchester was walking down the busy hallways of his school. He was a senior at the time, pretty tall with green eyes, popular as some may call it. A ladies man. He was a part of the football team, one of the best players actually. However, even though he had friends, pretty decent grades, an amazing little brother, there was one thing he longed, but never had. That was the ability to see colours.

His little bro Sam was lucky enough to find his soulmate. His name was Gabriel Novak, also known as the Trickster. The first time they met Dean had almost run him over with his car. That idiot was chased by his older brother who he had pranked just a few minutes beforehand. He may, or may not had painted his brother's room pink. But it he hadn't done it to one of his calmer brothers like Samandriel per say, he had done it to Lucifer. Yes, someone actually named their kid Lucifer, and it was for a reason. That guy was literally the embodiment of evil.

How did Sam find out that Gabe was his soulmate? It wasn't the first time they met, actually. It happens like that a lot, but not in their case. Gabriel had thought that it would be a great idea to prank Sam by covering him with paint that he couldn't even tell the colour of. Later they found out that it was green. How did they find out? Pretty simple. Sam, covered in paint tried to catch Gabriel, but ended up slipping and hitting his head. And sure. Gabriel isn't the nicest person in this world, but he still isn't an asshole, so he went to help him. Once he took Sam's hand to help him get up, their worlds burst with colour. And Sam may or may not ran off. But they worked it out.

Dean wasn't so lucky. He still never had the chance to meet his soulmate, no matter how many people he met. It wasn't the nicest feeling knowing that you might never have a chance to meet your soulmate. He shook off this thought and entered his art class. He was usually one the last ones to be there, considering that he didn't exactly care about being on time, however today was an exception.

He stopped in the doors. A kid sat in the back of the studio, a kid he had never met before. Even though he could only see black, grey and white, he could tell his hair was really dark, probably black. His skin on the other hand was really pale. Even though Dean wasn't into guys ( at least he tried to tell himself that), he had to admit this guy looked intriguing. There was something strange about him. He just couldn't place his finger on what it was.

Dean finally snapped out of trance and went to sit in desk next to the guys', because this strange kid was sitting on his place, but Dean wasn't feeling like being an asshole to this kid, so he decided to just let it be. The kid did knowledge his presence, but said nothing. so he's the quiet type, huh? Dean thought. From the corner of his eye, he could see the guy to look at him and something strange glowed in his eyes. Dean just shrugged it off as the bell rung.

Castiel Novak. A fairly tall, unknowingly extremely blue eyed, shy new kid. Up until now he was homeschooled by his adoptive dad because of his struggles with anxiety and depression. Let's just say that Castiel's childhood wasn't one of the happiest, before he met his adoptive family. Sure, his new brothers could be pain sometimes, however he still loved them. He was unbelievably grateful for them adopting him. He finally had a family. However, what happened in the past couldn't be erased.

Castiel was highly against the idea of going to school, however his dad thought that he should at least attend the last year. But if something went wrong, they would take him from school again.

Right now, Cas was sitting in the back of the art studio, drawing into one of his most precious belongings, which was his sketchbook. He heard someone enter the room and stop, but didn't look up. He didn't want to risk making an eye contact with this person. Fucking social anxiety.
