Never in my Life would I have thought that i would be running away from a murder scene, no one would have. Well, unless you were part of mafia or gang, then yes. But I am part of neither. No Gang and No Mafia.
There are many situations in life that people don't know how to get of, and for me? One of those situations was now and one of those people were me.
From the 17 years that I've lived in this world, I have never thought of witnessing something terrifying before my eyes. I've lived the life of a normal teenage girl. Too normal actually.
My name is Genevieve Smithens, just your average teen girl with a life normal than others. You could call it, almost perfect. I had two parents, who were very supportive of what I did and the paths I was willing to take. I was a straight A student with not a single track of disobedience. I was also the walking stereotype of a Goody Goody Twoshoes.
But my life wasn't as messed up as it now. I am currently attached to a chair with straps holding me down. You could say, I was kidnapped and right now there was no way of escape. But how about i take you back in time to before i ended up in this current situation. Let's go back to how it all began. On the one night, where i was at the wrong place at the wrong time.
1 Week Earlier
"Mom, I'm going out for my night ru-" I said as my feet descended the stairs into the family room. My light blue orbs landed on the sleeping figure that was laying on the brown mahogany couch.
I took soft and small steps towards my mother, Hillary, hoping that my bright purple nike sneakers wouldn't squeak against the wooden panelled floors of the family room. As i neared her, i gave a small smile at my mother's sleeping form. Her legs were tucked to her stomach as the side of her face was buried into the cushion. Hillary had her mouth slightly open, releasing silent snores from her small and cupid bowed shaped lips.
My left hand reached out and grabbed the blanket that was sitting on the love seat and draped the blanket over my sleeping mother. With a silent goodnight to my mother, I placed a soft kiss on her mothers forehead. Before i could walk out of the house, my light blue orbs caught sight of the T.V still on and went to turn the off before the noise could wake up mother. Just as my hands reached for the remote, the sound of the newsreporter and the news that was being reported caught the slightest of my attention.
"It has just been recently discovered that 23 year old, Stephano Vincenzo has escaped a police van as he was being transferred towards Americas Maximum Security Prison where they hold all of America's Most Wanted Criminals. Stephano Vincenzo having escaped causes a major threat to the whole of America,"
I scoffed before proceeding to actually turn the television turn off. However, the news had once again caught my attention.
T.V.S are always seeking attention. Next person i know that wants attention. I might call you a T.V instead.
"It was also discovered that Francisco Klaus was reported missing 48 hours after Stephano's escapade. Police have come to the theory that Stephano is responsible for this man disappearance and have asked all civilians within the area to remain within their homes for their safety."
Click.
The T.V was off. I didn't need to hear more. With one last glance at my mother, I slipped out of the house and exited the front gates.
"Hey Gen!," a voice was heard from behind me before I could take a single step forward to start my run.
I whirled around and smiled.
"Jake, Hey, what are you doing around this time of night?" I asked him as he stood in front of me.
"I was actually coming by to your house," He told me with a smile.
Jake, was incredibly attractive with jet black hair and shining emerald eyes. His body was muscular with a set of 6-pack abs that was outlined perfectly through his plain white muscle-tee. His teeth was a pearly white that would show a hint of sparkle whenever he smiled. His whole aura practically screamed Mr. Perfect.
My cheeks reddened, give him a full view of the blush that was sporting on my cheeks. The sight of his dangling black hair that stuck to his forehead was a look that should be illegal. No one is allowed to look that good. He looked even more handsome even when he was sweating. Nothing beats a well toned boy with a great body that was practically dripping wet, Water or Sweat. Nevertheless, it was Hot.
I smiled at him. "Run with me, and we can talk about why you were coming to my place,"
