TJESE are some characters from one of my FAVORITE bookes "And Then There Were None" (originally called "ten little indians" but y'know... that one was a leetle offensive)
anyway this book is REALLY FUCKING GOOD and the movie adaptations are SHIT one day i hope to be rich and powerful enough so that i can write/direct/produce my OWN adaptation of this god tier book with ALL DEATH AND NO LOVE AS IT SHOULD BE
(small rant because i am very passionate about this book)
(also spoilers in case you wanted to read it and/or watch the movie)
(you shouldn't watch any of the movies they are shit)
FIRST OFF- they make the ladies oversexual and it's DISGUSTINGH
we have three (3) girls in this book
1: a bitter, conservative old woman who is not at all attractive (gets revamped into a raunchy sex lady MULTIPLE TIMES)
2: a young school teacher (made to be a lot less powerful and independent than she is in the book)
3: the help (one of the first to die so she doesn't get changed a whole lot)
like???? sorry hollywood but did we read the same book???? what the fuck
ANOTHER gigantic pet peeve i have with these movies is that the WHOLE POINT OF THE BOOK IS THAT EVERYONE DIES IN THE END AND THEY CANT EVEN GET THAT RIGHT!!!!!!!!
MULTIPLE TIMES the school teacher gets together with the guy who is white boy of the month material (which DOES NOT happen in the book) and they LIVE??????? h u h what the FUCK
im just GSHDHDGDGDGHF it's supposed to be this big unsolvable mystery that only the reader knows the answer to but NOOOOO the murderer CONFESSES and the "young couple" (rETCH) survive to tell the tale??? NAH.
