Chapter 17

Chapter 17 - Her True Self

After the so called Wilderness Camp for Izuku's class, they finally had a week holiday, since the semi-finals had started and the U.A Academy's basketball team had to practice for that day.

Izuku sighed infront of the school campus, staring at the entrance. It was holiday but the real game had finally started and the whole school was watching, except for Izuku.

It was totally a waste of his time but he couldn't help but accept Todoroki and Kaminari's begging. They forced him to come along in the game for the same reason. They brought a girl with them and needed him for making the situation "unawkward".

Izuku felt used but it wasn't the first time anyway. Because he knew that one day, maybe if he was a scientist in the future, he will use his friends as guinea pigs for his experiments. That was his dream. So you could say that they would pay him some day for that.

He then breathed out from his chilly mouth and entered the building. Fixing his green vest, he next went upstairs instead of the hall.

He opened the door to the rooftop and went to the edge. He leaned unto the rails and stared down the place, with the feeling of the small breeze brushing against his hair.

It's quiet.

Suddenly, he saw a bunch of people going out of the school, laughing and talking down there. It was the cheerleading team. They just recently finished their performance back at the game, so it appears that the game just started.

Izuku stared at them, having fun. It seems that Hagakure joined the group as well, and she was actually fitting in immediately. They were all just having fresh air, eating snacks and beverages from the vending machines.

But the boy caught his eyes on someone. Her again. The brunette smiling with her friends, that always warms his heart all the time. He couldn't help but stare at the view from the bottom. But a thought suddenly hit him.

"If you don't know what you're feeling right now, consider finding it soon. Do you know what Uraraka-chan is feeling right now?"

The words that Tsuyu had said made Izuku confused and lost in answers. He didn't know what to do anymore. His feelings all scrambled up where he can't read anymore. It was the hardest thing that Izuku could ever try to solve for him.

What is he feeling for her right now?

His eyes began to saddened as he gazed at Ochako. What does Tsuyu mean by "what is Uraraka-san feeling right now"? Those just made him more demented and it was harder for him to approach Ochako since he doesn't even know if she's showing what she's really feeling in the inside.

He didn't know.

After a while, they head back inside the building. And at the same time, Izuku received a message from his phone. He quickly grabbed it and saw that Todoroki messaged him. He then read it and it was said that they were waiting for him already.

Izuku widened his eyes, completely forgotten about the game. He sighed lazily and went back inside. From the outside of the hall, he could hear the squeaking of shoes of the players and cheerings.

Those made his ears twitched in pain as he groaned at the sounds. But the problem was, he didn't bother to bring any book. Weird. Why is that? He, too, didn't know because he felt... uninterested to.

It was odd. He was never ever bored of reading a book and learning stuffs. But now, he felt like he did want to watch the game. Why did that happened? He usually isn't that kind of person to have a slight interested in sports. Maybe... it wasn't the game he wanted see.
